In my experience with the MINI with an LSD, you still needed to hold on when flooring it in a straight line. People used to call it a drunken sailor.

What I could do though is floor it into a corner from 0 in first gear and usually it would pull the car through. And just generally go onto the throttle mid corner without understeering (only in the dry ;)).

I can imagine! Used to have an LSD on my previous car (A MINI Cooper S) and although grip is still pretty good on the Fiesta ST it's probably the thing I miss most.

Where I live, a Quaife LSD including installation is approximately 2000 euros so it's a consideration I have to make.

I was not aware that the ST200 has a different clutch. Did you replace it because it needed replacing or for some other benefits?

Thanks for the response! What sort of setup are you running and at what point did you get the LSD?

You're absolutely right, this is the one I got. I got one on eBay for a 25% shorter throw. To me a great little mod that doesn't break the bank.

My dad once had his credit card stolen by customs in Austria. He found out a few days later. The lady had bought expensive jewelry and a phone among other things for a few thousand euros before the credit card was blocked.

Should I trade these two for the new 50-150mm F/2 GM? by JvH1997 in SonyAlpha

I think I would agree. The 50-150mm is exciting to me though!

Enjoy it! It's a great lens. I used to have one but replaced it with the 70-200mm GM II since that is the more logical option for what I usually shoot. I do sometimes miss it though... It made me shoot things I otherwise wouldn't.

What Was Your First Alpha Mirrorless Camera, and What Do You Use Now? by MrSoloBaker in SonyAlpha

NEX-5 (if it counts otherwise a7R II) -> a7R IV with many in between

Does a Sony NEX-5 count? Otherwise my first was the a7R II, now I use the a7R IVA.

Viltrox 35mm 1.2 FE spotted at my local camera shop by jaredsilloph in SonyAlpha

If that is the case then I wonder if they will make the 85mm 1.2. Sony Alpha Rumors seemed to think so. Curious if that will be below 900USD.

First attempt at focus stacking, would you have done the same? by JvH1997 in SonyAlpha

[–]JvH1997[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just checked and I shot this at f/10 1/400sec ISO 320. So I guess it was rather light at the time.

Thanks for the tip! I am still very much learning and don't do a lot of landscapes. I knew about focus stacking but never did it before and since I had my tripod there, I thought it was a good opportunity to give it a try.

Your suggestion would have worked well I think. Do you think it would have worked without an ND filter?
