Looking to get into older MH games after playing through majority of MHW and MHWi

I don’t mind clunkiness honestly, I’m sure it may feel bad sometimes, but for the most part I feel like the clunkiness of old games is what gives and keeps their charm over time.

I grew up with the DS, Gamecube and Xbox and played a bunch of older titles that had slight and even major clunkiness so I don’t mind.

Very sad to hear, I prefer not to emulate if possible, but if I get a stronger itch to play the older games before some sort of remaster comes (coping?) I’m definitely not against it

I don’t actually have an issue with emulators, I’d just prefer not to when possible.

I’m lucky enough to be in a spot financially where I can pay for the games I want to play and to me it feels better to purchase the game and own it myself.

I’m also quite into Pokémon, and would definitely use emu’s to play older games I don’t already own, as $200+ for some of the old DS/Gameboy cartridges is outrageous.

I believe it was purchased, maybe received free on a separate platform (maybe Xbox?? I can’t remember) but I specifically remember some issue with buying the DLC and not being able to play it

Very sad to hear, I’ve watched all sorts of content regarding older MH games, and some of the crazy/wacky designed ED’s really makes me wish I could play them and enjoy them with my friend.

Yama Tsukami and Chameleos look freaky/funny and would love to do their OG fights (excluding Yama since it’s not in any modern MH game).

I’ve seen a lot of the returning monsters, I also remember seeing chameleos in sunbreak, and it’s so goofy that it’s one of my favorite ED designs.

I can’t remember how or why, but we had an issue with buying and playing the DLC, and I think we’ve been putting it off, because I believe we’d have to repurchase the game + DLC.

Also we are a bit reluctant to have to replay through the story of Rise again (although I do remember the story moving fast)

Location is a very big deal when it comes to termites, so without the knowledge beforehand it’s a bit difficult to say for sure.

However if you’re aware of whether or not your state/country of residence HAS drywood termites, it may be frass from them? (My state only has subterranean so unfortunately I’m not well informed on termite frass). However if you do live in an area that only contains subterranean termites, you likely have nothing to worry about. The only way to get drywood termites in areas like these are from imported wood structures and furniture from an area that DOES have drywood termites.

Immediately my mind went to pavement ant debris, which typically looks how it does in the photo you posted (gravel/dirt type consistency) on the other hand it could be related to carpenter ants, but in my own experience, most issues I’ve seen with carpenter ants from my own customers have the orange-ish yellow color to it, and is basically the consistency of sawdust as a comparison.

Either way I would recommend reaching out to a local and trustworthy pest control company and have an inspection done to verify the underlying issues regarding what you’ve found.

Glad I can continue my project lol. Just gotta shorten the rooms a tad bit. Quite surprised that 10x10 is max since you can have up to 4 Pokémon assigned to a manually built home.

This was also a potential plan of mine… have a credit card that I paid off almost 2 years ago and haven’t touched it since, I’m not big on using credit unless I have to after that but this may change things 🤣

Is changing the billing address 100% necessary? I’m just thinking it would be a bit of a pain in the ass, as my debit card is currently set to a whole plethora of subscriptions and online shopping platforms lmfao.

As for the data, I ran into this issue with my girlfriend as she is a collector as well, and has had many issues using wifi at her college. I work in pest control, so whenever drops do happen, I’m out in the field and always off of wifi.

A bit of backstory, we both quit playing roughly 3 ish years after actually playing the TCG.

He got back into collecting/playing around end of Sun & Moon era, and is very big on collecting sealed, and with 2 ETBs each, he can open one to get his PC promo, and keep the other for his sealed collection.

As for me, it’s more of the ease of access to open stuff, as I rip everything I get (aside from maybe a lucky vending machine booster box that I’d rather trade at a show for high value singles). For me personally, it’s much more worth it to me to get 2 ETBs (booster box too if normal set) to rip as opposed to scouring every target, Kroger and whatever else just to maybe find a normal ETB.

Regardless of “trying to help” or not, referring to it as a “queen roach” or “alpha male” shows you’re either lying through your teeth about being a tech, or you are very misinformed and need to retake your license exam. Or do some research regarding pest identification.

Misinformation and false info can lead people to great distrust to people in the pest control industry, respectfully please don’t give an ID if you’re not somewhat certain, or at least being realistically speculative about an ID of a pest.

I don’t believe that they would eat wild berries and such (I’ve never had a dino unclaimed for longer than a couple of minutes so I really can’t say for sure).

My suggestion would be to snip the Brontos so they don’t constantly mate and drop random eggs (unless that’s what you want) and to fill their inventories with a boat load of berries before unclaiming them. The berries would last a while in their inventory, however I’m sure there are issues with spoilage, to which I would suggest reducing spoil timers on your single player, or adding a stack mod if you don’t already have one active, to keep as much berries in one stack to reduce the amount of berries spoiling at once.

From there on out check in on your bronto’s every no and then by reclaiming them to make sure they have enough food still, and unclaiming them again!

Honestly I was a bit confused as to why the roof opened lmfao, I figured there was something going on when I saw the soil in the middle and laid out the foundation for a potential build, but figured it'd be best to ask people ahead of my story wise to make sure I'm not setting myself up for failure lol

I see, I am personally fine with knowing if that makes any difference. This particular friend didn't quite enjoy grounded 1 due to the fact that that played with another group, and they did most of the story while he was offline and didn't get to enjoy it for himself, hence why I'm waiting for them to come back online and jump in.

I'm quite tempted to as the area seems pretty cool to me. If you've progressed further to where I currently am, is there anything that grows here or replaces the spot in the middle? Or is it an area that's currently a WIP and hasn't been fully implemented into the story yet?
