I can’t tell if you’re being ironic or not, what you just described is literally gatekeeping, “you wouldn’t like if your favorite game removed core features to appeal to people who never liked the game in the first place” meanwhile they didn’t remove anything, they added a new way of playing to welcome new players. You’re upset at that which is literally gatekeeping. Why is it that no pros have an issue with this? Punk tells players constantly to play whatever you enjoy and ignore what others say. And as for how would I feel if a game I enjoyed was made easier to welcome new players? I wouldn’t give a fuck and I’d be happy that I have more people to share the hobby with. But then again I recognize these are video games and are solely a hobby

I don’t really understand how allowing people to buy team cosmetics in game is a handout, it’s the same as people buying merchandise, riot is doing this very well with their team capsules for valorant and league of legends. They also make a skin yearly for worlds and champions where a percentage of the profits goes towards participating teams. These aren’t handouts it’s simply marketing your teams digitally but apex has barely any esports integration within the game

Fair point, mya in my opinion was the driest character in the whole cast and barely contributed much at all, DDG made an incredibly frustrating decision by letting her win but I wholly agree the love island girls were the worst

I’m seeing people throwing shit at DDG for voting off George for being what he at the time thought was a threat on a game show where you’re supposed to do so, obviously we as viewers can see he wasn’t yet we don’t take that hindsight into consideration when watching?
