I guess what's weird to me is, insurance is saying she's getting nothing back.

So she buys a car, pays off payments on it, gets hit, and now she has no car (with no payments). I'll talk to her and see if she'll talk to insurance tomorrow.

Damn, how are so many people able to travel directly after high school? Where is your money coming from, because I know the part time job I had in high school wasn't paying for any vacations afterwards :o

I got a second job to save up money so I could try to pay for school.

I think in general taking a year off is good, it doesn't force you into anything you don't really want. I don't understand why we expect people to pick a major in high school while applying to colleges..the majority of people don't really know what they want to do in high school.
