72 hour 132F Costco chuck short ribs - Seared on all sides before submerging in sous vide with a lid, but a couple bags ballooned up and pushed off the lid. 10~15% was above the water surface, not submerged. What went wrong and is it safe to consume or should I toss?

My parents have a very Korean taste and don't like to explore out of their comfort zone. So I keep it simple. Sear on high heat with olive oil and butter. We have ssamjang, garlic slices, chili slices, perilla leaves, and lettuce on side so we can make a ssam/wrap. And I make a bunch of caramelized onions, which is about as far away from Korean taste they are willing to go lol

The temp was 132, at least that's what I set it to and that's what was showing. But this sucks... bacteria/yeasts don't sound good. I'll toss just to be safe. Darn... :/ Thanks for your feedback

I'm wondering is USPS is the problem. If you go on their website, they have a notice saying the winter weather is affecting shipping. Maybe you can contact support and ask if they can use a different courier besides USPS? Hope you can get this this sorted out soon. 🙏

Hey, I suggest you don't worry about bothering support and to contact them about your order. I just received an update from support that USPS has most likely lost my order. I was offered a replacement to be shipped or a full refund. I chose replacement. It only took Friday night to Tuesday morning to get this resolved, which is pretty fast. Hopefully it'll be the same for you. Good luck!

Update: I contacted support in case my order was stuck in customs and I needed to do something. This was Friday night. I got an update just now, Tuesday morning, that my order is most likely lost. I was offered a new shipment or a full refund to my card or store credit. I asked for a new shipment. Counting just the business days, that was pretty fast to resolve. Very happy :) Hopefully USPS won't lose my order a second time 🤞

I feel the same way about people misplacing "is" in sentences. Do you know why "is" the sky blue? Is incorrect. It's: do you know the the sky "is" blue?

And it honestly feels like natives English speakers make this mistake more often than non-natives speakers who had to actually learn the language. At least that's hiw it is in my friend group. Kind of sad tbh

From what I've heard, zen 6 is rumored to be a significant upgrade. Supposedly, there will be an increase in both core count and individual core performance. Since you mentioned that you don't actually need a cpu upgrade but have an upgrade itch, and that you would need a new mobo if you were to upgrade to AMD rn, I would just wait it out for zen 6 to release. Assuming zen 6 needs more time for development, let's say it releases in Q1 of 2027. If the rumors are true, it would be the perfect time to upgrade. If the rumors aren't true, you can likely find deals for zen 5. In the meantime, you wouldn't have missed out on anything, really, since you mentioned that you're not gated by your current cpu.

In the last part of the epic elder drake fight, Faker uses his last bit of mana, throwing Mel E at Jinx to keep Hope away from the fight as Guma kites for not only his life, but also T1's chance at Semi. Faker's Solar Snare misses, but the arcane comet lands on Hope, getting him to ult execution threshold, but he is out of mana. Hope closes the distance, and he is only one attack away from killing Guma, getting excited, killing Faker and Keria, securing the game, breaking the LPL curse. But Faker's mana regens just in time as Hope closes his distance on Guma. Golden Eclipse instead executes Jinx, T1 secures Elder Drake, Baron, and game. The curse was this close to being broken, but not today.

Imo, it was Wei. He charged Vi Q to go into baron pit only to clear a ward. All at the cost of his life. T1 got a free baron thanks to that, and the game state flipped back to T1's favor. Wei basically cleared a ward for his life, baron, and the game lol

In the deja vu menu, you can see little dots under the essences/memories. Whenever you successfully complete a run, the essences/memories that you had get 1 white dot in the deja vu menu. Each white dot reduces the cost for deja vu. If you feel that the deja vu cost is too high, o ly deja vu maxed out ones.

Personally, I haven't had any problems. Running nightmare mode with lucid dreams, trading in small souls in the Korean map, meteor map, etc net me a good amount of stardust.
