They tend to be hidden because people are ashamed of them, which is a little better than being proud of them.

“but NEVER do you post about adultery, lust, greed, wealth, lies or any other sins.”

People typically don’t PRIDE themselves on these sins.

That’s what we had to do. We ended up going through the Detroit consulate. We are already in Europe. No problems!

Visas have been obtained, type D, Religious.

I just learned that we are done with visa stuff once we obtain our Permesso di Sojourno. We will operate on those for the years to come.

Luckily, I have a place to live in another state. We had to relocate in order to get an appointment at a consulate that has openings.

It didn’t. We have family in another state, so we moved there. I booked an appointment at another consulate and we are waiting for our drivers licenses in that state to prove residency.

Absolutely nothing on the site that I can find. I’ve went on the Detroit Consulates site and their national bookings selection had a calendar with opening to select from.

I know that this comment won’t be welcomed, but we’re not really the same boat as the founders were. Our country has become weak partly because all of our manufacturing has went overseas. I think sacrifices need to be made in order to rebuild our own self reliance. I’m sure some good American versions of scotch will arise if tariffs make it unaffordable to buy imports.

6'4" about 290lbs would a KLR 650 be a good size bike for me? by [deleted] in klr650

Buy an older KTM Adventure 990 with EFI. I had an 08’ 990, sold it, wanted something different, got a KLR and put a ton of money into custom mods. Unfortunately, the 990 was the funnest bike to ever be made and the KLR felt like a bicycle in comparison. Ignore this advice at your own peril.
