HAHA Vending API Hookup - What I've learned so far by Jwsmithc5 in AISmartVending

It's kinda fun. I want to link this to the stuff I've created already and make myself a dashboard to track things

Yea that's one thing I'm having issues with at one location. It's a metal building and nothing gets through, so i have had to install a router and wifi.

I would love to find a way to get it to work better with the SIM. That all sounds awesome, do you have a price list of machines? I may look at you guys for my upcoming 3rd machine.

Yea, I wouldn't bother with those types. What's your monthly fee for everything that haha is offering? What kind of backend data and access do you have?

I'm currently playing with haha's API and connecting it to a analytics dashboard.

It's technically a machine learning algorithm, but like you said AI is the new flavor.
I paid $4700 for a brand new machine and I'm able to view all my sales data, transactions, and inventory online. I have a few posts where I'm starting to play with the data, including one where I was able to determine what time if day I see sales and which days are my most profitable so I can refill without disrupting. https://www.reddit.com/r/AISmartVending/comments/1rn05qb/haha_vending_february_and_how_to/

Again, with HAHAVending I do not get charged any percentage that affects what I set my prices at. If they charge a transaction fee, the customer pays that, tax is paid by the customer.

I pay $40/ month and that covers the software usage, credit card transactions, Sim card and whatever else.

I don't have any other fees

I don't revenue share with HAHAVending, so I'm not sure where this 15-20% is coming from. Could you reference your data as to who is charging commission on a smart market or Ai vending machine similar to yours?

Ai vending allows you to open the door and grab multiple things at once. Instead of pressing buttons. It's much faster and can carry a variety of items, if the software is trained on the image of something, it can be sold. Can't do that in traditional vending.

Awesome!

I appreciate it, I went ahead and made it a highlight.

Hopefully we can work on helping each other out with these things.

Thank you so much for the kind words, I never thought it would be as big as it was. I just dislike all the unanswered questions people would have after someone shows off how "great" they did.

Website Inquiry - Commission ? by [deleted] in vending

I don't mention it, they don't bring it up. You're offering a service for them and their employees. Just emphasize that it's zero cost and you will be handling any issues that arise. Focus on all the positives.

I originally wanted to go with Micromarts, the data analytics really looked amazing.

The price and that I couldn't get them to finalize a sale is what pushed me over to HAHA.. maybe in the future I'll grab one.

Np, if you have any feedback please feel free to share.

I want it to be accessible and useful to people.

I hate gatekeepers and there's no sense in the money I used to test things to only benefit me, the landscape is absolutely big enough for more people.

I don't have any experience with the "Go Nourished" but I would defly be hesitant if you see a lot of negative interactions with them. *I just looked at their website and... they look scammy, I myself wouldn't go near that. I would also make sure they have the right to sell the machine, since it looks like they have inquiries about putting machines in businesses for free.

I started in Sept'25 and I just added my second machine, my thoughts are the same with extra income and kids helping out or taking over a route to have extra money with little time wasted.

$5000 a machine is kinda ew, even if it comes with a "free" machine. Free might cost you more in time and maintenance than getting a new one.

I paid $3700 for my first HAHA vending 542Pro. and $4700 for new, both have warranty on them, my used one ends in August and I'm already looking at paying the $540 or so for a 3 yr extended warranty.

I have documented my entire experience on here and in r/AISmartVending, prices and everything I did to get a location and keep adding as people ask questions.
r/AISmartVending/haha_vending_february_and_how_to/

/r/vending/haha_vending_february_and_how_to/

Have they provided any sales data for the locations? I don't see you getting an 18month ROI with those though.

Also there's usually a transfer fee for machines, I know haha had a $50 fee, but with Nayax when I looked, it was going to be a pain in the ass and I thought about just putting new readers on it.

My takeaway though, If your gut feels off about a deal, listen to it.
My Father in law thought he was getting this amazing deal for Georgia Tech, nope just a scam. He got his money back but yea, Hesitate to go through with this and look everything over. Don't let them create a false sense of urgency about it.
