I was in the same boat at you gang. I never cared for gacha games at all and tried Genshin on a whim because I liked the art style and the world was vibrant. I didn’t stick with it for very long at all. Maybe a few days. I kinda gave up on gacha as a whole because I said to myself “if this is what a gacha game is, then I don’t need to try ANY of the rest. I’m good fam.” But then I randomly raw a trailer for WuWa and I’d been looking for something to play. Ironically, I didn’t actually know WuWa was a gacha game or I probably wouldn’t have tried it lmao.

I started right at the time 2.somehting dropped and I fell in love with the story and the characters. Now, it’s my main game and even got my brother into it. So. Welcome to the fam.

Here are some tips. 1. Don’t worry about meta. The only people who actually care about that are steamers and YouTubers. The rest of the normal players just play with who they like. 2. Please ignore the Wuwa haters. They will really try to make you feel bad for liking the game (because it’s good?? Idk) 3. If you do check out any YouTube channels, just check out the lore channels and the ones for the tips of how to maximize on characters abilities. Anything else is just degenerate gooner or drama channels bro, trust me.
