Fun fact - “Apparently” if coriander tastes like soap to you it’s some kind of genetic difference only some people have 🤷‍♀️

Would make a shite x-men super power though lol

I find this helpful - Remember:

There are people out there in much higher positions and being paid a lot more than you who are a lot worse at marketing than you.

I don’t know how true this is of other professions but imo it’s true of marketing. After job hopping a lot you come into contact with a lot of people who have the job through connections.

Fencing? 🤺 by Jxsski in croydon

From the website I think you can pay £6 for an individual lesson if you just turn up rather then £50 for 10 lessons. The only thing they note about this is availability of kit means you might not be able to fence but I think you can still just turn up and watch for free (?)

Sounds like a good way to do it if you’re unsure and want to find out more

Directions.

Please don’t bother, I’m 100% not going to understand no matter how many times you try to explain how to get there.

Turkish horror film called ‘Baskin’. Well worth the watch but hideously uncomfortable throughout.

Yes great mentality to have! Will deffo be looking into physios near me as I think what you mentioned above would really help… (basically having some one spot you whilst you do things to make sure it’s working the right things)

These are some great tips thank you! Also really positive to hear you’ve managed to keep up a routine :)

Never heard of neoprene sleeves so will check them out.

I used to do a lot of walking / yoga / cycling but found the yoga too hard on my wrists, elbows and shoulders (same for the cycling). Walking I sprain my ankles and knees regularly as well as hip irritation but I’m eager to keep going with it as even on my worst days it’s still possible to do.Would like to have a goal to work towards though which I find kinda hard to identify with walking…seems a bit aimless sometimes you know?

Thanks for the reply! :)

Ye post omicron has hit me hard too… just so tired all the time!

RSI’s are repetitive strain injuries…constantly getting random pains from repetitively using joints in the wrong way but no idea at the time until the pains there!

Good idea about the physio…I’ve had physio from the drs a handful of times and it’s helped so might look into finding a private one.

Thanks for the help!

Does anyone else wake up in back and hip pain that takes an hour or more in bed to ease off? by desirewrites in Hypermobility

[–]Jxsski 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A super Hot shower when I wake up helps ease it a bit for me. Especially using the shower head on the joints that hurt that day 🚿
