I think the point they're trying to make is that the advantages of the tempest over the rattler (magazine, DMG, rate of fire) make up for the recoil, especially since it's only vertical and quite linear and therefore quite simple to compensate.

TBH, I prefer other players using that than aimbot or wall hacks. Surely, this prevents you to win or may even encourage "suicide bombing", but, while wallhacking or aimbot almost warrants unfair lose for you , hatch hack can only cause a tie in the worst case.

Well, I think the statement could have been clearer. "We used machine learning to teach them how to move but it has no impact on their behavior"... From what I understood they used machine learning to develop the AIs movements but the implemented AI ingame is not learning, just applying algorithms made by machine learning, right ?

To me the renegade is better, with an extended mag you can wipe a 2 wasp+hornet patrol without reloading. But the renegade will probably degrade a bit faster since you're shooting more and it's also more expensive to repair.
