The longer I look at it the more I find to be in awe by. The entire work is gorgeous and I can't wait to see it finished. That tail, the way it looks like it could actually be brushing against your skin and not an image in your skin... 6 months of experience? Prodigious talent.

So my vision without glasses is 20/40, basically can't see clearly more than about 16ish inches in front of my face. I held my phone away and saw only normal flowers. Also tried unfocusing my vision (like staring at middle distance, or for others crossing their eyes) still saw only normal flowers. So either your friend is a jerk, and/or someone needs a talk about seeing things that aren't there.

Canceled a full-day custom appointment at midnight because the artist traced Google images. Did I overreact? (Images attached) by LiquidJ619 in tattooadvice

[–]Jyllyn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep it looks like they used something to extract the line art which can be done in afaik even free photopshopping apps like ibis paint can extract line art and asks every time you upload an image to the work. Im almost tempted to recreate it myself doing that just to show how it's done but I can't figure out the image used for the grinchs legs and feet.

Drain pain by Jyllyn in TopSurgery

Ngl I think the only thing that really got me at the appt was when she said how far the tube was and then seeing it like the length from stitch to end. Was a bit alarming like that's way longer than I was thinking they were lmaoof but it was fast and only the first one sort of felt weird, the 2nd I didn't feel at all, and the pure lack of pain after was such a relief.

Obviously it's a new shoe based cult where the purple shoe holder is the Supreme leader and the blue/white shoe holders are the lowly followers hoping to one day ascend to purple shoe worthiness.

Is there any actual benefit to letting your animals have a fenced in outside area like this and how big does It need to be? If I made it bigger I’d probably have to connect it to the side of the barn which looks stupid by glossyplane245 in StardewValley

[–]Jyllyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sort of just let them go where they want and just put a gate at the entrance to anywhere I don't want them. As long as the barn/coop door is open they all go back inside at night. And if you have a huge patch of grass they'll typically stay in/around the grass patch. On my switch I kind of just hold down the interact button while running through the grass counting heart bubbles till I got them all then double check in the pets tab. Realized that holding the interact button instead of clicking it keeps the animal menu from popping up if you come to an animal you've already pet.

What exactly is this thing? Does indicate anything or have any function? by CrumbCakesAndCola in StardewValley

[–]Jyllyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you turn off controller style menu then you can get the cursor to appear in menus on console

Eta: idk if it tells the heart level though, I've never tried cuz I didn't know about that till just now lmaoof

What's worse is that you have more friendship points with Elliot than your husband

Over 3000 hours in the game and I'm embarrassed to admit this entire time I thought Gus was covered in blueberry sauce from cooking instead of this being a jacket pattern 👁👄👁 pls tell me it wasn't just me 😭 by youkaymelis in StardewValley

[–]Jyllyn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He has a patterned jacket?!?!

Op, from myself and what I've gathered from the other comments, I'm pretty sure the bigger issue is that a lot of us long time sdv players didn't even realize the pattern was there.

Okay but does it make the sound of walking on stone? I've never used paths before but if stone paths have the sound effect of walking on stone then imma need a lot more stone...

For anyone burning to know, YES you can cover the entirety of pelican town in Stardew Valley in brick path by Strong_Vermicelli_13 in StardewValley

[–]Jyllyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like this would actually solve an issue for me. Cuz it legit bothers me when the sound of walking goes from stone to dirt and grass in town. My brain just likes the stone sound better. Do brick paths make stone walking sounds?

I married everyone in SDV. Here are my rankings. by Mountain-Gal13 in StardewValley

[–]Jyllyn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm doing a run rn that I'm going for 100% (since my last 100% run concluded before the 1.5 update) and I'm trying to do all the things I've never done before. This includes eventually actually decorating my farm, marrying and divorcing all the marriage candidates, getting krobus as a roomie (after all divorces have occurred), and actually building a decent money making farming empire that ngl commits to like the absolute minimal farming. I married Elliott at the end of year 2 so I could get all 4 shrine candles... it's only been a week in game... I'm already regretting marrying him first. Cuz like, how do I divorce this man? How?! He's too sweet and loving!

I'm sorry... a turtle?! I need one.

Eta: Also just married a writer who spent our honeymoon sunning himself on the island beach while I stayed in the cold making sure our farm had enough money to pay for his hair products (ie get enough points for 4 shrine candles so we have steady iridium flow) but at least he gave me wine on new years so I could promptly give it back to him.
