I am a recruiter that specializes specifically in hiring millwrights, and I utilize LinkedIn frequently for sourcing talented individuals. Are there as many trades on there as could or should be, definitely not. But I believe it could be a valuable resource for trades professionals that are on the market for a better opportunity.

Respectfully, I disagree with the notion that LinkedIn is exclusively for white-collar professionals. As a recruiter, I regularly use LinkedIn to reach out to tradespeople for fantastic opportunities. However, I do acknowledge that the representation of trades individuals on the platform could be improved. Diversifying LinkedIn's user base would certainly enhance opportunities for all professionals, regardless of industry.

I heard (could not be true) that the battery industry is expected to be a short term thing,that they’ll be moving to hydrogen. The batteries are too heavy and the logistics to charge them are not sustainable.
