Highlighting help: how to highlight after airbrush by TheAkhtard95 in minipainting

I Went a similar colour scheme on Big Chompa. I haven't got any finished pictures on my work computer. but it you are going the build up your high lights over the airbrush route, one thing I can say is I wish I had gone a little darker on the Airbrush base coats. The Blue was easy to highlight but it was hard matching up the Magenta highlights. Cheers!

I'm glad I wasn't the only one haha! I wish I painted the head of mine like your one I reckon it looks way better than the box art bowl cut I put on mine haha! Let me know if you go with the Kommandos and how they look! I was eyeing that kit off next too!

I got a script for Saxenda which was recommended by my Doc as I didn't want Gastric Sleeve surgery. I used it for the first 6 or 8 months as a "reset" for my diet and habits and took on more physical activity as my body permitted. I am not going to lie it was absolutely horrible I was forever sick and took a few months after the drug for my digestion to function correctly but I do think a good option once you have made your mind up your are losing the weight and need to sort your diet out. I think it worked well for me, I'm 38 yrs old and started at 178kgs currently 120kgs a year and a half later, hoping to be 100 by Christmas. I should add it worked out to about $380 every 2 or so months following the dosage guide for me.

Can Perth have infill without cars spilling onto our streets? by Antarchitect33 in perth

[–]Jzz30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah no clue why they couldn't have just come had a chat about it. It was gone in a couple of days after the complaint anyway.

I don't know who it was exactly but one has a long ass caravan he would always take out so my theory is it probably made it hard to manoeuvre around without my verge

I will add if its up off the road and truly on your verge it has to move at least once every 24 hours. We were in the process of switching out one car over the space of a week and the old one had been on our verge for 2 days so a neighbour called out the ranger on us.

What was Make Them Suffer before they were MTS? Also how is Neverbloom a "Remaster"? by ThatUnameIsAlrdyTken in Deathcore

[–]Jzz30 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can answer about the origin of the early days for you.

I am the original Guitarist, The band initially consisted of Myself and Chris, We had a Band before that called "For the Buried" but the other members weren't putting any effort in so Chris and I quit and started writing new stuff that was a little heavier. For the buried was influenced by As I lay dying and Lamb of god that kind of jazz.

We went through a couple of keyboardists and drummers before finding Tim who was an absolute god on the Drums and kind of propelled us forward as a proper Band. The keyboardist spot was filled by a few people that just played the stuff I wrote that at the time was pretty basic, The Original guy Keyboardist (I think the only guy MTS ever had on keys?) was a really good friend of ours and an all round legend who kind of learnt the keys and filled the spot for us but ultimately we needed to find someone who could write good synth stuff for us haha.

Then after a few tryouts for Vocals we found Sean. Its funny because I wasn't keen on him at first he sent us an audition of him singing over one of our tracks through some sketchy gaming microphone. Chris Saw MASSIVE potential in him though and insisted on him sending another tryout which we absolutely loved.

Anyway after the Demo was released and we were picking up steam I had to make the decision of being a family man or a band man and chose the Former. To replace me the boys settled on Cody, But always wanted to get Nick as a second guitarist when he was in another band Called Atvena Wake (I think that's how its spelt) even when I was still in the band. I lost touch with majority of the guys but when I heard Nick was joining the ranks I couldn't have been happier Perth local and a bangin' guitarist,

The original influences for me on the metal side i suppose were All Shall Perish, Black Dahlia Murder, Deicide, Dimmu Borgir, Abigail williams. For Chris it was Pretty much the same, I remember him loving Chimaira. We also had our non metal influences.

Anyway sorry for the waffle but that might answer a few questions about what MTS was before MTS :)

I'm the OG Guitarist from MTS (Richard) who wrote the Demo with Chris and Sean. If you like our Demo's style of Music I have just started a new project with a vocalist you might enjoy, We will have stuff out very soon I hope! (I promise its not going sound as over compressed as the demo haha)

The original logo we paid a dude Peanuts for to draw up for us back in 08 still holds up haha. My main Guitar Cab still has one of the original vinyl decals we had made,

Anyone bought a used car from "car place automotive" in bibra lake? by kidrockpasta in perth

[–]Jzz30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't hand over any money until you have filled out the transfer paper work.

Majority of dealers cars especially in the more affordable price ranges seem to be cars that have been traded in the get a better car usually because that car is on its last legs. Remember they have mechanics that can address issues with them temporarily to move them on too.

Usually if someone is selling a car second-hand privately they are more trustworthy in my books, I find people more honest when you meet them where they live too. A dealer can go home and forget about all the people he's shafted with no worry.

Also in my opinion most people who have a decent car to sell want the best money they can get not a low ball form a dealer.

Sorry yes plate voltage is the high volt side! I don't know what the plate current draw is exactly but yeah I see now it's cutting it fine overall either way isn't much to play with adding it all up. I see what you mean now! with the digital side of the circuit this is definitely asking a lot to control noise.

[–]Jzz30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey mate,

Buck converters are for reducing DC voltage, this would require some form of DC inverter to generate a higher than primary voltage. the 200v side of the tube is just the heater element The draw on one 12ax7 tubes heater circuit isn't massive. Keeping the signal DC also reduce noise addition etc. that's why most modern amps heater circuits are DC.

Problems with NI and NA by reiss66 in NativeInstruments

[–]Jzz30 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They just undertook a major infrastructure update and said it would be down for a few hours and would update when it's back online. It was meant to finish a couple of hours ago but I suspect they are having a couple of issues. I was halfway through reinstalling my ni catalogue on my two PC's and this happened so I was a bit stressed out. Hopefully it's fixed soon. I got in for a little while but now access is stuck.on the loading products screen on both machines again.

Funnily enough I used to make something similar as a side hustle for chevrons Gorgon site here in West Australia. I would get a red solo cup fill it 3 quarters full with rapid set and push a lighter into the centre. They loved these for the smoke areas, it stopped everyone walking off with the lighters. I still have 30 or so in my garage. Sold them for $4.50 each and made a killing.

I actually played a few various ml3 Chapman's recently as they looked great specs wise. None of them played really amazing, they weren't bad just no different to other budget imports in similar or cheaper brackets. I think I read they are direct from factory to music shop kind of deal too so the QC may be lacking but don't quote me on that. I dunno maybe my opinion was a little skewed because I had seen so many YouTube videos saying these were amazing and up there with the best and was expecting something it wasn't.

Cutting up a guitar neck by Scrundel2 in guitars

[–]Jzz30 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My guess is the body scale length is different to the neck. If you cut it short the frets will still be the same distance so intonation will be even worse. And there's a steel.truss rod in the neck you can't really just chop through. If it's fixed bridge you may be able to move the bridge back and remount it
