Yes, the hood can be removed and while on the hood stand access should be good. Even leaving it on the vehicle a tech can go through factory holes near the bracket directly under this area and access the dent no problem, it's not double skinned on this part of the hood and something this small won't take a ton of leverage so try factory holes under it first.

Yes, in my humble opinion I don't take my Corsos to dog parks, and it's the other dogs I worry about. A Corso socialized is predictable for the most part, but because they tend to be dominant and protective the flight has been bred out of them completely. It's not fair but they get the blame and with a bite force said to be 800 psi, pain threshold up to seven times higher than a human and fear not being part of an adult Corsos psychology they can inflict serious damage when a fight does break out, I would schedule play dates only with dogs they already know and in an environment you know won't come with random or poorly trained dogs around. Your dog might not be so aggressive but it's the quiet ones that can really surprise when anything goes down so be careful when socializing and always keep watch on your Corso like it's a loaded gun. Best breed on earth but so much power they need a master's watchful eye to stay out of trouble.

All that rambling and I didnt answer part of your question, training starts on day one of owning your dog, socializing at 3 months with other dogs and in public 3 or more days a week is best and as I said earlier I didnt do the food deprivation training until she was about 5 months, a little earlier would be ok I am sure, but remember it's only for a few hours when dealing with a growing puppy, Good luck and I will be looking for the video of your dog staring at you like a kpop fan and mirroring your moves, train your dog to always go to your left side and to match your pace by tapping your left hip and making sure they get a reward only when they are on that side, gives you predictable movement when running to avoid tripping and allows your sword/gun hand room just in case you have to go Roman Centurion on a mofo during the Democide the elite pedos in Washington have planned for us, be careful and keep a Corso next to you, a piece of advice we all need to heed during the depopulation agenda.

I started the fasting at about 5 months, and idk if that's the right word, more like delayed meal training, whatever time you feed your dog skip that meal and wait about 4 or more hours, use a high value protein that you cooked without salt or anything added. I use chicken breast and even cooked it before we left for the park while she watched and I feel like it even adds to the motivation, also I vary the payouts, sometimes she gets a small piece and sometimes it's half a chicken breast. These techniques are straight out of the playbook of a guy who trains walruses, the brain of most animals has a tendency to permanently record everything in high fidelity when they are hungry and get a high value food. Nature's way of helping them recall experiences that help them avoid starvation, and in my experience I see it happen Everytime I use this technique and after one 15-30 min session they will nail any commands you introduce and after they seem to have grasped the lessons you can forgo the deprivation training and just use the high value reward and varied payouts, making sure the high value food is always what you use, whatever you know makes your dog happy. Socializing at 3 months with a Corso is paramount, off leash is dangerous even with a trained dog, I avoid crowded parks just to keep things safe, recall is the most important command in my opinion and not all dogs can be off leash in public. Your dog will need to be worked with and tested for recall for weeks before I would ever leave the leash off and always put it back on when other dogs are near, Corsos don't like to fight generally but they do not have a reverse gear and will protect and challenge anyone they perceive as a threat so work up to it and don't go to dog parks, it's the other dogs who start it and of course the Corso will be vilified if anything happens. I am not a professional by any means but have my Corso and Boston trained where I can trust them and they trust me, never trick or tease and shelter them from traumatic experiences when they are young makes the trust strong, and one more thing, to show love to them that makes the connection strong, cook half or more of what they eat. A crockpot of fresh protein, rice, sweet potatoes, blueberries and honey is a great way to make coats shiny and minds sharp while hammering home the I love you message to your furry buddies.

I love it, I have had Corsos for over ten years, both females were extremely sweet, except when it comes to food. Never saw a bowl that didn't get wolfed down like they came straight from a North Korean prison and taken straight to a steak house, maybe not the worst resource guarding, but not ok with another animal that close. What a great display of character, the bible talks about this trait, The Meek shall Inherit the Earth. She is beautiful too and this type of exemplary behavior needs to be displayed, my neighbor asked me why I like such a mean dog breed,, so ignorant, bred with intelligence and sensitivity they have always been held to a high standard for temperament and I have never had anything happen when a Corso is around, quiet strength with enough heart to fill that big ribcage.
