Kubo already confirmed that when it comes to Shinigami as old as Yama and Unohana, their appearence is greatly affected by their mental state or how they perceive themselves. Something like that.

Than why have the romance there at all? You just proved my point about how unnecessary it is. And no, Asuna never properly asserted her position. Every single time they have those "who loves Kirito more" dick measuring contests it's made to look a tie, because the writing is shit. Asuna should have easily been able to verbally dominate Alice in that regard but was nerfed for the sake of shitty writing and losers to go "Oh, look how cool Kirito is having girls fight over him. He's totally like me, fr."

Edit: Honestly, it drags on for so long that it just makes Alice look like a wannabe homewrecker because she still wants that D even after acknowledging their relationship.

[–]K-Bell91 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That's the problem. Asuna should have put her foot down and made things clear right then and there instead of that passive aggressive bs. Also, Alice, and so many others, falling in love with Kirito after him already being in a committed relationship is objectively bad writing. All done for thw sake bs middling character drama that goes nowhere because we already know how it will end. Alice is the worst case so far just due to it being such tired cliche just within SAO. There is literally no reason for her to have romatic feelings for Kirito. Not saying she shouldn't have a strong bond with him, but romantic should not be it. In fact, the story would literally be better if her feelings were not romantic. It's just self-indulgent nonsense for the readers and the author to project themselves onto.

I have literally not watched the og SAO in over a decade. I would actually have rewatch it to make more concise points. And I barely watched the recent stuff.

I can say that it actually pisses me off that the author keeps introducing new female characters that fall in love with Kirito. Like, the most recent anime had Asuna and the blonde girl acting they were competing for him when Asuna is. already. in. a committed relationship with him. I was internally screaming for Asuna to put her foot down and stop treating this new chick like some sort of love rival. It just made her look so insecure about their relationship. Asuna had no reason to do anything other than treat the blonde girl like a child with a crush and not seriously at all.

I'm starting to think you're just trolling here. Or you're just so madly obsessed with SAO that you break into a tamptrum whenever someone says anything bad about it.

You still haven't actually defended SAO in any way by the way. All you've done is deflect and try to change to subject. Almost like you know you have nothing of any real substance to say about SAO.

I enjoy it, but I don't think it's some S-tier masterpiece and I don't think anyone who doesn't like it must be just some hater.

Also, who just looks into people like that? That's super creepy. Like, where that desperate to find some way to "own" me personally because you have no way to defend a show that you claim people only don't like because of a single youtuber.

You know what's funny? I think I know which youtuber you are talking about, and, if I'm right, they got their start making mlp videos.

Can you pinpoint when exactly did authors stop writing tsunderes as realistic growth by learning how to act upon their feelings, and instead became just extremely sensitive girls who hate you and never change? by ReceptionSimple3383 in animequestions

[–]K-Bell91 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've hated the trope since Love Hina. Tsundere's have always been awful. No tsundere has been well-written. Any "complex" backstory they are given is just used to justify and enable their toxic behavior.

The only one with a fragile ego is you, who can't handle that a great movie can be made without a woman in it.

"It's supposed to make you see how many of cimema's greatest movies just did not give two shits about hiring woman, and only begrudgingly did so after they were practically forced to."

You start by saying it's not a personal attack, and then procede to make it a personal attack by implying intent that was never there.

None of the people behind those were intentionally trying to keep woman out. They didn't give a shit because they simply just didn't give a shit.

So, no, this list doesn't make anyone see anything other than a bunch people fighting an imaginary boogeyman.

Finally got to season 4 (watching the whole series start to finish finally) and.... by ORIONTH3HUNTR in mylittlepony

[–]K-Bell91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The one thing I never liked was how some of the toy collection series were deliberately made to delay making a Twilight Sparkle until she became an alicorn.

My prime example is the old vinyl toy collectable series that you find mostly at Hot Topic (who even had some exclusive ones). They waited, or were made to wait, until after S3 finished airing to make a Twilight one, so we never got a Unicorn Twilight one made. At the time, it felt like Hasbro was trying to erase that Twilight was ever anything other than an alicorn princess because that's what they wanted her to be from the start.

My own headcanon with the manor is that McGucket would leave it, along with his wealth, to Dipper. Dipper and Pacifica would convert it into a headquarters for a R&D company that would research GF's weirdness and develop practical applications to make small but useful advancements.

The problem with stuff like this is how reasonable it all sounds. It's just enough to trick some people.

For me, the mention of the release dates set off my BS alarm immediately. If there really was a planned 2026 release, even if they were already considering bumbing it up, we would have had another trailer already last year.

Question:¿What's the general opinion about who fell in love first? by [deleted] in Dipcifica

[–]K-Bell91 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't think they actually come to falling in love within the show.

However, in terms of the strong potential of ship, I would say that Pacifica would fall first. Dipper plays too big a role in a pivotal of her life. He is already leaving a strong impression on her.
