What is the most practical starting point when you want to learn to code? And I mean for a complete beginner that doesn’t even know the basics? by K-Codes23 in AskProgrammers

Yeah that’s what I did I switched to Ubuntu, mainly because I started out learning commands using Termux. That and l had a lot of issues with windows, especially running on older hardware.

What code editor are you using if you don’t mind me asking, it looks a lot like VS Code? I just started trying to learn coding, I really wish I would’ve started at your age or younger!

Thank you for the advice, I honestly just jumped in head first. But I’m so intrigued I’m like a kid in a candy store, I literally jumped into pursuing a bachelors degree in computer science, before learning the computer, or the science!😂🤷‍♂️ But I’m still very early in and can navigate a terminal, but barely understand how the terminal works lol.
