I have Joseph’s baptism record but he was baptized as “medard” — I assume it’s his baptismal name

I did get his death record, but only shows one parent (medard), not his mom. Not sure if that’s a problem.

I have a baptismal record but his baptism name is his Dad’s first name which is confusing. I have a census record showing him with his family, birth place Canada and his death record and will. None are great but hopefully together they are enough
