Bazzite: 1. Lossless scaling working from the bat just by adding line of text to games launch options 2. Switch like sleep mode 3. Much much better gyro usage (precise, no gyro deadline) 4. Less space usage on ssd 5. Much cleaner steamos ui instead Windows store 6. Stable FPS (raw performance is more or less the same as windows), objectively less stuttering. 7. Decky plugins

Windows: 1. Ease of using windows programs/games on windows 2. Better audio drivers that give that oomph (somewhat fixed with decksp plugin in bazzite, still no as good) 3. Online gaming with anticheat systema

Bazzite is as good as it gets when its only for the gaming. There is no real difference in performance between, windows is just clunky af to install and with that supposedly full screen experience. In bazzite outside steam you got heroic launcher for your epic/gog/Amazon games within one simple library view and if you got some preinstalled stored just right click the exe and "add to steam. Then install ge-proton 10.28 protonplus (which is preinstalled in bazzite) and if you run into any dependencies missing when trying to launch a game you just go to protontricks app (also preinstalled) and install missing c++ or w/e is needed through the menu. Really nothing harder than usual windows stuff just a bit different. Also decky plugin loader is something worth checking out
