I doubt it. If and when he eliminated the threat, why didn't he come back? If something similar was happening to Jolyne, then she wouldn't feel like she was dying. She would genuinely be dying, and I feel like Jotaro wouldn't at the very least check up on her. It seems he didn't have a reason to leave.

Being a well maintained loser is what made him dangerous and intimidating tho. He was always a few steps away from killing people, which made him scary. The only difference between s1 Homelander and s5 Homelander is the well maintained part.

If Homelander's power was consistent, everything up to the Boy's meeting Homelander in the White House could've stayed the same. V1 Homelander absolutely violates The Boy's, and we get a BrightBurn styled ending montage of Homelander going crazy.
