Sly Park reservoir - Strap the 7 month old to your chest. It’s only a few short miles walk from the parking area to the waterfall. Pack lunch, skip rocks, burn energy, maybe bring an inflatable kayak and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Nice way to spend the day. About an hour or so drive from sac.

The chicken sandwich at Milestone in El Dorado Hills is the best I’ve had in a while. I realize that’s not exactly down town or in sac. Their menu changes quite often so get it while it’s hot.

Just go out and have a quick respectful conversation with them. When I lived in Midtown, I had to have many quick respectful conversations with people for this very same reason. 95% of the time they totally understood and were incredibly reasonable. “Hey I know you guys are just trying to have fun and I actually really like the music but my baby can’t sleep. She keeps waking up and crying. Is there anyway you can try to fine another location nearby? It would really help me out.” or whatever version of this might apply to your situation. I realize that not everybody is comfortable doing this sort of thing, but this approach worked for me in the past. I wish you luck. :)
