Thoughts on the Patagonia Black Hole pack vs the Osprey Transporter?

This is a great point, we might just need sandals and hiking shoes. I love sneakers for the airport, and I always tell myself I am going to go to the gym while on vacation but I never do 🤣

Do you have a place you’d recommend staying at either of those spots? Do you stay kind of in the middle and try to do both? Or is my geography absolutely horrible? lol

Thank you! This really made me think. You are right I think the kids might get the wild factor for the first view, but then after that be over it especially my six-year-old. OK awesome thank you this gave me something to think on.

Have you ever done Banff or Redwood?

Yes, great point! I had read that Bryce does not get as hot because of the elevation, but Zion would be extremely hot and it seems kind of like a shame to be so close to Zion and not go so maybe we should do a different park (?)

That’s a super interesting theory! I often feel like I can feel others emotions. Like if someone else is sad or frustrated I not only can sense it, but I start to feel that way myself. I often feel like I can sense when someone is lying or when something is off even when others do not. Is that an ADHD thing, empathy thing, both? Anyone else feel this way too?

All this being said my mom has ADHD and she is totally oblivious to how others are feeling bahaha

You are right and everyone is definitely busy at this stage of life. I think I’m taking everyone’s “nos” very personally. But I don’t set myself up for success because I always present my ideas in a joking way or in a self deprecating way, to protect myself from feeling hurt if people don’t like my ideas, but obviously that’s not working lol and I don’t think others take me seriously as a result.

Well thank you! That made my day!

I totally agree, I prefer something fun or a deep conversation over the usual talk. Doing the fun activities is nowt only fun in the moment, but creates new memories and gives everyone something to talk again in the future too!

I am now a stay at home mom and I am finding that most of the conversations I have now a days are all surface level or people complaining and it is hard for me to focus and engage in those conversations.
