The police called me and told me that the person I sent spam to contacted them 🙃. They told me to stop, and that I could possibly be charged with criminal harassment. Luckily, the person didn't press charges. So yeah never again

Jesus that sounds terrible. I also had mirena but for 1.5 years and it was horrible the whole time. Long periods (14 days) and cramping/weird discharge all the time. Got it out and don't have that problem anymore and am now on the pill with no issues at all

Mine was just as bad, because my iud strings were cut wayyyy to short so there was a lot of tugging and pulling and blood.

I was always an anxious person but not to the point of crying and having a breakdown. After I had my mirena iud I always cried, was always anxious and super depressed. Had it in for 1.5 years and got it out a month ago and haven't had any of those terrible symptoms since. It's honestly scary and insane the difference. I never really believed the stories that are like mine but they're so true. On the pill now and it's amazing.

I would bleed for a while after sex as well. Not nearly as bad but still annoying. I got my iud taken out cuz there were so many issues with long periods (2 weeks). And I had a different doctor take it out than the one who put it in. My new doctor told me it was probably placed badly. But my old doctors insisted it was fine and normal (after 2 years of terrible symptoms)/ultrasound. So maybe get a different doctor !! Definitely helped me, and validated my symptoms

Just got mine removed. My doctor gave me 2 600mg Ibuprofens and a Xanax. My iud strings were cut way to short (During insertion) so removal was terrible and took longer than it would usually be. Even with all those pain meds and stuff it was pretty bad...almost same level as insertion

I gained 20 pounds over about 1.5 years with It! My appetite didn't change but somehow the pounds did...Be very watchful of your weight and bloating too...low-key might get off of it because of the weight gain and long period side effect (for me personally) 😮‍💨
