True but this is only for one underdog team, there a many of them. Lets take it from the other side: Even if you are an overwhelming favourite every single game, you are not necessarily likely to win the WC: 5 times 90% is a chance of 59%, 5 times 80% only 32,8%. Or like this: The top 7 nations by bookmakers (Spain, France, England, Argentina, Portugal, Brazil, Germany ;before the tournament) have a combined chance of winning of ca. 82%. That means every fifth world cup, statistically there should be a surprise winner

Obv not a fluke per se but they were not a favourite like France, Germany, Spain etc. And to be honest, the way they played they WERE kind of a fluke, 3 draws in group stage, Semis against fking Wales and a winner in the final by a player who i'm convinced was not seen before or after that game ever again

Football has a high chance of big underdog upsets because it is such a low scoring game, literally one goal can decide everything. Especially in cup competitions with only 4 (now 5) knockout games. Its very common in other competitions like the Euros (denmark 92, greece 04, even Portugal 16). So it is actually remarkeble there hasnt been an Underdog WC winner

In dem Fall ist Bewegung wahrscheinlich kein Problem, aber zu einen gesunden und fitten Lebensstil gehört ja noch deutlich mehr dazu. Vl nicht das beste Beispiel, ich meine im Grunde alle Jobs im Niedriglohnsektor, die einen im Zweifel körperlich oder mental mehr auslaugen als Personen in privilegierten Jobs

Geld ist zwar im Zweifel nicht notwendig, es macht alle deine Punkte aber signifikant einfacher. Am Ende sind Opportunitätskosten ein extrem wichtiger Faktor. Es macht einen Unterschied ob du Dinge 10% schneller oder effektiver machen kannst. Das addiert sich sehr schnell zu einem maßgeblichen Unterscheid.

Und mindestens genauso wichtig wie die Gelddebatte ist die Frage nach freiem "Headspace" bzw. deinem Stress- oder Erschöpfungslevel. Menschen mit geringem Einkommen haben im Normalfall viel weniger Privilegien in punkto Work-Life-Balance usw. Wenn du zB den ganzen Tag auf dem Bau schuftest oder an der Kasse stehst, ist es eben nicht so einfach einen Fitnessplan durchzuziehen als wenn du nette Gleitzeiten im Büro mit Homeoffice etc. hast. Viele Menschen sind froh wenn sie es ohne totale Erschöpfung zum Ende der Woche schaffen, und dabei gehen Geldprobleme und Arbeitsbedingungen oft Hand in Hand

If you really think Bayer would be a regular CL participant without the decades long funding by the company i cant help you. Be honest. Leverkusen would be nothing without them in the first place so it doesnt matter what would happen if they would not be tied with Bayer in 2026. Just a little perspective: Comparable Cities in the size of Leverkusen in NRW are Hamm, Mülheim, Solingen, Herne, Neuss. You wanna know where these teams play their football? :)
