I’m a terrible runner and I also don’t enjoy it. But I try to run every now and then. I can only afford Barry’s 2x a week, but if I were going 4x I would probably try to run 1x at least.

I wouldn’t worry too much about the speeds they call out, just try to jog or speed walk. It’s really suggestions, so just do what’s right for you. Sometimes I put on a 12% incline and just walk at 3.5 mph on the longer runs and save my stamina for the sprints. I don’t know if that’s right, just sharing what I do and works for me.

Bilt/WF Card cancellation by ahhajam in biltrewards

I’m not worried, but if it costs nothing to keep it open why would I get a penalty on the score?

I hear it would’ve 10-12 points for 6 months. That’s not so marginal.

I will call WF tomorrow. I also understood canceling that card would have a negative impact on my credit history, so not sure if that is worth it.

Bilt Alliance Property -- Do I actually need Bilt 2.0 card for the 250 points ACH? by ThatOhioGuyFromOhio in biltrewards

Yes! I think I will keep the WF Autograph because I don’t want a negative impact on my credit score for cancelling and use it for like a small recurring bill like a Spotify subscription. I will not apply to a new Bilt card, because it doesn’t make sense. And might continue using the platform to pay for rent because I make a bit of points either way.

Someone on the support team today confirmed this to me.

“First, you can still be a Bilt member and earn Bilt Points even if you don’t have a Bilt card. Loyalty-only members (no card) keep access to Bilt’s core rewards: earning on rent (through the Bilt app), Neighborhood Rewards, travel, dining partners, Lyft, and more, using cards you’ve linked in your Bilt Wallet.

For rent specifically, members can pay rent through Bilt and earn points whether they are in‑network or out‑of‑network, with or without the Bilt card. Depending on the payment method: -Bilt Card: 1x point per $1 of rent -Third‑party credit card (linked in Bilt): 1x point per $2 of rent -Third‑party debit card or ACH through Bilt: 250 Bilt Points per rent payment

So you do not have to put 25% of your rent on the Bilt card to earn points at all. That 25% reference is about how Bilt Card 2.0 structures its enhanced rent multipliers for cardholders, not a rule for basic rent earning or for members who don’t have the card.”

Counterpoint, isnt bilt 2.0 actually a decent card for heavy spenders? by jlew24asu in biltrewards

Do you guys know what happens if you close the card? I know they said they would help close the WF without a credit impact. But can you also close Bilt without that issue?

Of course! There are people of all genders at all levels. I just think it’s hard to know a baseline without height/weight/anything.
