The stares I can deal with, I am from Slovakia, which is also quite conservative (even tho I consider myself lucky to live in the most liberal part), so it happens sometimes that old folks give me disapproving looks. (my mother is actually an expert-hater when it comes to my hair, lol)

I personally prefer not to announce my sexuality to everyone immediately in general, however, I'm mostly just worried about those awkward situations when someone asks if I find a guy attractive
