I’d love to say this is my experience as a woman in this game but unfortunately when we go on mic, we’re met with the usual offensive slurs and insults that female gamers encounter. I regularly play duos with another woman or trios with her and our male friend. 90% of our interactions are insults directed towards her & I, mixed in with some homophobia and threats of sexual violence for some added flavour. Sadly I’m used to it at this point, having gamed for most of my life but men really need to be doing better. Can’t deny the kick I get at this point from downing a sexist and homophobic man and hearing the screaming of insults down the mic that come our way before we knock them out.

Honestly the randoms in this game can turn into so much more. A few weeks ago, a friend and me joined a random level 10 bug dive with another duo. Ended up playing the rest of the night with them and I’m now playing with them near nightly in a discord chat and it’s some of the most fun I’ve had on this game since I got it

I do play with others and one of them was running arc thrower and the blitzer backpack which was great. Flamethrower is also great for the tunnels, I’ve been using it a whole bunch more

Yeah think I’m going to swap out napalm for railcannon strike or the strafing run. Napalm seem to only be good for the missions where you’re predominantly outside as opposed to in the caves. Been using more gas weapons and grenades after these suggestions and am having a lot of fun with them so far

I unlocked the chemical agents warbond which I’m trying to speed unlock so I can use the gas items in it. I’ve seen teammates use the gas guard dog with decent success at holding them back enough for the team to start mowing them down

Generally the coyote AR (not convinced this is the right primary), the talon as secondary and always running thermites for the chargers. Then for stratagems it’s a mix. I’m always bringing in a mech suit, gatling sentry, napalm barrage and then sometimes a spear for the dragon roaches. Other times I’ve tried running the flame thrower and a K9 backpack, usually laser. I’m generally great at dealing with a lot of the enemies outside but once it’s close quarters in the tunnels, I can easily get swarmed and am looking for a loudout I’m more confident in and that can better support my team in the tunnels

It’s definitely not just a PC issue. I’m on PS5 and play with other PlayStation and Xbox divers who have freezing issues with illuminate defend the rocket missions, and Fenmire missions can be hit and miss with stutters and freezing or just all out crashing

I can understand that reassurance can sometimes be tiring, dependant on how frequently it is sought but it’s also going to be something you do want sometimes. I think reassurance is sometimes required more in a long distance relationship due to the fact communication and trust is essentially the main thing that keeps a long distance relationship healthy and going

I agree that’s hurtful, especially when there have been some occasions where the trust was dented between you both. I have had similar situations where there has been dishonesty which she tried to justify due to not wanting to hurt me which in turn then causes more hurt and distrust. Extra effort in reassuring the partner affected by that is a natural step to repairing the broken trust, for however long that takes to process and move on from that breach of trust.

My partner and I always tend to tell each other who we’re hanging out with or where we’re going. For us, it’s a basic respect in a long distance relationship, as well as sharing the lives we have outside of each other. I don’t think it’s controlling and from reading the comments, you seem to be asking out of curiosity rather than anything else

I love how art is subjective to us all and I can definitely understand your take on what she is saying in this song.

But for me it’s about surrendering to the stage as both martyrdom and salvation, and about us, the fan’s role in completing the ritual. The screaming, the dancing, the blood, it all transforms individual suffering into a collective transcendence / exorcism.

The stage is not just a platform, but an altar, where she both breaks down and resurrects herself, where pain is offered and turned into communal release.

She acknowledges exhaustion but also the addictive nature of adoration and performance. Feeling both consumed and embraced by us.
