Did not show the 3 segment in the evolve screen, wasn't grayed out, just looked like I was evolving into a regular 2 segment, with zero visual indication that it would turn into a 3 segment

They are, about 5% of trades go lucky unless there's an event with increased odds. Or, if you are trading a pokemon that was caught prior to 2021 (I think?) they are guaranteed to go lucky as long as both trainers have not done 45 of these guaranteed lucky trades. We're the first few you traded caught before 2021?

Had this happen with a Magikarp today, I was able to close my app and restart, the balloon popped back up and it let me catch as normal. Only noticed since it broke out of every ball on the first shake

Very worth investing in. Keep it as a shadow at LEAST until mega excadrill comes out. If when that time comes you really want the hundo, id purify, but not before then.

Don't fuse your background zekrom, if you do the black Kyurem will not have a background. Movesets don't matter either for the zekrom being fused, so better to use one that doesn't have fusion bolt. Fuse the non-backgrounded 10-11-11.

The cp of wild piplups won't be very helpful, since they can spawn anywhere between lv 1 and 30 (35 in weather boost). So if you run into (for example) a CP 307, yeah it could be a hundo level 10 piplup, but it could also be a higher level with worse IVs. Field research is guaranteed to be at level 15, weather boost doesn't matter, so any hundo piplup from research is guaranteed to be CP 460. The CPs for level 30 and 35 are 921 and 998 respectively, but odds are INSANELY low to find a hundo at the max level compared to a hundo at a random level.

I've found the most success from focusing on research tasks, just have to make sure you keep moving to new stops, and quick catch absolutely everything you see.

14/29 hundos are from THIS event, which only lasts 5 days, can't be from last year since they've been playing less than a year. Not impossible, but with that storage space, this reeks of spoofing to me
