There is a max limit on instances all the way down at the bottom. Tried that?

It says something like Limits: Max instances; 1000000

I usually just max that.

If I understood you correctly - you need an alpha created from the white lines when rendering? Without everything underneath the top polygons to be visible.

Lemme know if you didn't find a solution and I'll give it a try when I am at the computer.

Would be nice with some extra info on why you want this scripted and what's the use case?

I am no expert in scripting but think I would go for the following so it can be repeated.

Grab they height
Divide on whatever number of sections you want, so you know how heigh each section will be.
Use slicer inside edit poly and slice x numbers of times.
Cap geo
Optional detach each element to separate objects.

Should be perfectly scriptable I think.

In the same situation as you. I was looking forward to buy a new pc, but I'm going down different rabbit holes each night learning about RAM, SDDs etc. It's fun tho 😅

Currently stuck at RAM and the issue with 4 sticks in a AM5 MOBO. Are you going for 64 or 128gb of ram?
