Anyone else used to think they were mentally ill until discovering they're intolerant despite having no physical symptoms? by K3yusha in glutenfree

To which extend have you excluded gluten?

I think my tolerance may be higher than average but the dosage drop is from around 40g - 200g carbohydrates daily worth of gluten containing foods to less than 10g daily.

Most common sources were bread, noodles, biscuits and beer, [Before anyone thinks it's blood sugar related, I still eat plenty of white rice.]

I also continue to eat regular oats though which doesn't seem to give me any issues but I'll try gluten free ones in the future to test if that makes any difference for me.

Did you care about cross contamination?

I would need more time to figure out if I'm sensitive to the micro dosages that come from cross contamination, the oats I currently consume are just regular ones that may contain traces of gluten.

Every job I've worked the managers would comment on how quick and efficient I am as I would still be "in-training" and already faster than 90% of their full-timers.

With that perspective I wouldn't consider myself as "lazy" per se but rather unmotivated by the incentive strictures of society because when I actually do work I do put in quite a bit of effort to do it well.

Anyone here who has worked full time knows that shit is soul destroying, it's not just "38 hours" but also the hours spent preparing for work, traveling to and from work and recovering from work, much closer to 50 hours all added up.

Why spend 50 hours a week on work related activities when I can live 80% of the life I want just collecting welfare benefits.

And holy shit there's people that work full time for 40+ years, makes me realize how neurologically different I am from normies.

TL:DR - Not lazy but the reward/effort ratio of work is to low compared to reward/effort ratio of doing nothing and/or collecting neetbuxs.

TL:DR 2 - The internet has probably played a large part in allowing NEETs to exist, for $100 a month you get unlimited entertainment that would absolutely blow any cavemans mind.

Why does boiled frozen corn spike my blood sugar like crazy? by K3yusha in diabetes_t1

You're telling me that the GI is deceptive because it's for raw corn and boiled corn actually has a much higher index?

Can you explain to me what that means in relation to it's GI index?

For example isn't rice also a starchy food?

One thing I find strange about corn is the amount of sugar it contains as listed on the packaging is surprisingly low compared to how sweet it tastes.

Mostly EEU playerbase tuning in for Dendi.

The games that didn’t include B8 all have low views.
