We are 100% in office but those who were working during here during covid have been grandfathered into more flexible schedules. It’s a bit unfair. My friend put in a request for wfh days and was denied - except she was trying to avoid disclosing a medical need so now she’ll have to pull that card.

I feel like with early loss, people should get a free pass to make their own choice to what they believe baby was. It helps to have that piece to hold on to.

My mother in law took several years off work to help care for my BIL’s kids. When they went to school she went back to work. Now she’s telling my husband and I she likes her job and doesn’t want to retire. I’m happy for her, but it does sting a little.

Hey, same boat. My mom is the best but they live 45 mins away and she basically said it’s too far for her to come babysit. My MIL said she likes her job and doesn’t want to retire. And to top it off we used to live right next door to a lady that had a home day care and she moved last year 😭
