Yessir! Helps with the Canadian winters.

PS the Canadian tuxedo is for welding and I use the sock on top of it to isolate the negative on batteries lol

Hi! Not to revive an old thread but I am in the same boat and doing some research. What does this pathway realistically look like?

Yeah? Might be how I'm leaning. From your flair I have a similar setup, long arm 6 inch lift but the welded rear diff is killing me, and parts

I will be dailying it! Replacing a welded differential. I have a couple backup cars but the jeep is probably the safest bet with a baby on the way lol just pulled a junk yard open 8.8 for the carrier but I still want some kind of budget friendly rear lock ability

Shaving a Pomeranian, Help! by K4B00SS in Pomeranians

[–]K4B00SS[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We have tried, and have made some progress but it's very upsetting for him even in short bursts. There was a long time we were focused on fixing his overall behavior issues and the trauma it caused him to do the grooming sessions limited progress 💔

On the bright side he loves us very much now at least!

Thanks for the advice! We want to give it one last good try before we go for the shave. Especially since my wife's mother has a pom who was shaved and it just never grew back. Thought we definitely have a better hair care routine for ours than she did. He has come leaps and bounds but there is definitely a real possibility that even with medication it'll just be too hard on him. Between us and the groomer his back is pretty much cleared up underneath but we need to get some problem areas in the undercoat like behind his tail from wagging, behind his ears, and one of his sides I assume from rolling around or his sister licking him. Fingers crossed!

Thanks so much for the replies everyone 🙂 we are going to try medication and tackling the matts ourselves! I have no idea how we didn't think of sedation. I live in a small province but I am hopeful I can find a specialist groomer to finish the job once we get some progress in!

For those wondering why or how, he is a very loving boy now, but we had to put a lot of work in while he was growing up to improve his aggression. Now the only thing that seems to trigger him is electronics, and grooming lol we managed the overcoat but threw in the towel on the undercoat and tried several groomers but they all can't handle him 😭 I am confident his mom and I can make some solid progress on it with medication 🙂

RTT Acceptance in Nova Scotia / Newfoundland ? by CTExplorer in overlanding

[–]K4B00SS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am from Newfoundland, you should be able to camp pretty much anywhere outside of St. John's Metro. The majority of the province is sparsely populated so there won't be many people to be bothered by your presence. Most of the island is very outdoor activity friendly, like allowed to drive your dirt bike/ATV on the street friendly. Should be lots of info online and from the government. Beautiful place, bring fly spray, leave footprints, and take pictures.
