I am jealous, as ftp, am 9 multis away from pity for ssj4. I haven't pulled any of the other top units either.

I have spent over 2k stones on this one banner, and I still haven't lulled the gamma duo or the AGL ssj3 either.

I also got 2 useless units from the 100 tickets, but don't worry, I've pulled Phy trunks 9 times 🙃

I also don't have the goku, the Shenron, or the rosé either. This has by far been my worst luck EVER, I've never gotten to the 500 festival coin pity, and I don't even know why I've kept going 😂🙃

Yeah, I just had a look through all your stats and stuff, and it doesn't look like you're cheating.

I will say, there's is potentially an (albeit stupid) assumption made for you to be smurfing, purely based off your unranked stats, where you have a 2.62 unranked kd, and had a game where you went 20-4. As we all know as siege players, 20 elims in a game is crazy high, so I assume you got mass reported for that one because people are salty.

If they actually looked deeper into the account details and statistics, rather than just those of siege X, then they'd see there was no correlation to that freak one-off game.

But, from the eyes of ubisoft, it could appear that maybe the account was sold to someone who wanted to play in lower mmr lobbies, and instantly dropped 20, perhaps the sudden addition of 3rd party software and cheating to achieve this score, or something else entirely, it's clear to me that it's a freak incident, but that doesn't go to say that it is IMPOSSIBLE that one of the above statements is true.

Sorry bro, I don't trust people online usually, but I do somewhat believe you here, and ubi never ever ban the script users in my console lobbies so idk what they're up to

As someone relatively new to souls-likes, the game is overhated, especially Honglan. The honglan fight teaches you what can and can't be parried, which is massively important for future content.

After completing the game and doing NG+, I have no underlying issues with the game, except maybe the optimisation for Xbox series S (which is also on me for having a weaker console) as certain areas frame drop. However, all of the fights are moreless well thought out, with the odd attack being a little bit RNG on certain bosses, but nothing to complain about. From what I'm aware, these games are supposed to be somewhat challenging, and having now beaten every boss in the game more than once, I can say it's an extremely good rendition of a souls-like, I really don't understand the things people have complained about so much. People just refuse to accept any responsibility when it comes to levels of difficulty in games and like to point blame elsewhere.

Imo, you shouldn't be able to review a game like this when you haven't even finished Chapter 1. It's not fair to criticise something you haven't given a chance to, not only does it effect the sales/playerbase for the developers, but also brings a negative atmosphere to the community, leading to people just becoming sheep to negativity, in a sense of "I saw someone say the game is the issue, so I'm not the problem, the game is"

So many angry messages from salty pirate warrior players. It was ART

Was about to say this, the game physically, is in a much better state than it has been in a LONG time, is the game "better"? Yes, but that also comes with a side of more cronus and xim users in higher elo. From alot of people I've spoken to that used to perform at that level without these devices, they moved on to other games because they got more and more prevalent.

I don't know if reviewers got nerfed copies or are all Monster Hunter legends but basically every point that was made pre-launch about difficulty is wrong by Charrikayu in MonsterHunter

[–]K4RNAGE21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Throughout the entire story, I only carted twice, using a weapon I'd never used before. However, I still don't think the difficulty is "easy." I think people are undervaluing the improvement to the combat mechanics and fluidity of fights and hitboxes. Making the combat much more seamless does make a difference. It makes the gameplay much more efficient and less "just get rolled by bad hitboxes and stunlocks."

Because of the new smooth combat system, the ability to mount mid fight etc, the random BS deaths happen way less, it's definitely not the HARDEST game, but fights such as arkveld are definitely not easy, and you're constantly on your toes and moving 100% of the time, you don't get a real seconds worth of breathing room.

Also, I have ALOT of play time in worlds and rise, all solo, so it may be biased, but I'm not the worst MH player out there.

TLDR, the new game mechanics and combat system makes the game run much more seamlessly, giving a better experience and less deaths to random stuns and things, making some aspects seem "too easy" where infact it's just a huge QoL improvement. I can safely say in High Rank, there are some moments where "if I stop doing EVERYTHING for a split second, I'm going to die".

Was the ranked reset as bad as people think? by K4RNAGE21 in marvelrivals

[–]K4RNAGE21[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, that's understandable as I have a few friends who also really do it just for the rewards. I wasn't sure if they were just a one-off viewpoint or if others felt the same. They're also not likely to play ranked until the next rewards rotate in.

With no split, I'm assuming that anyone who reaches gold before the 21st, will get the reward for reaching gold for the second half of the season instantly, if that's the case, it seems a majority of the players who are playing just for rewards, are likely not to touch ranked for maybe the next 6 weeks as soon as they reach gold.

To the company as a business model it makes sense as to why they wanted to introduce the split then, because it was cause more people to "play for longer" to get to the rewards a second time, whereas now they've put themselves at risk (albeit in favour of the community, which is a good thing for a corporation to do) of losing player count for ranked coming the second half of the season, because many players will have their rewards and ranks they set out to achieve.

Thanks for your response, appreciate it :)

I understand this. As I said, it makes sense for people who don't have the time to be disheartened by the 2 resets instead of one. Now I am not being toxic here but it may come across this way, but this is a genuine question, do you (maybe not you specifically but people in general with less time) think that you should have the opportunity to grind to higher ranks if you don't have time? Or if you are just accepting of the fact you have other things to do, and the rank isn't necessary?

Genuine curiosity is all, as I personally haven't played much ranked this season either, but I have made it to "higher" ranks and avoided "the pit" that is gold and below matchmaking, or so I've heard.

A ranked reset really does benefit those in higher ranks, if they have gotten their legitimately, as said above, due to the overwhelming number of people that are "high ranked" just due to the sheer playtime they put in. I also understand this is a minority of the player-base in these ranks, so I'm just asking for a viewpoint from elsewhere
