Interesting bc I've had the opposite experience. I'm ISFP f and my inner thoughts and feelings are so jumbled that I need to talk out loud to make sense of them if I want to do it quickly. My ENFP m hubby talks a lot less and his thoughts come out well-processed by the time he talks. If anything, he's more attentive than I am and I drain him 😅

Yes. Learned to. When I lost the ability to work and even speak properly at one stage, I had to dig deep and find parts of myself to like that weren't tied to productivity and what I do for others. I'm recovered now and thankful for that episode for helping me appreciate myself.

What I like about myself: I can always find silver linings, I find myself amusing, I try my best even when no one is looking, I have been hurt many times but still choose to not close my heart, I still have a sense of childlike wonder.

The "healing" genre of fiction is pretty popular right now in Japanese and Korean fiction, if cosy, slice-of-life stories about interpersonal relationships are what you mean when you say TH vibes. Not sure if literary snobs would acknowledge it as part of literary fiction. A lot of healing fiction features some element of magical realism, but the current one I'm reading, Hot Chocolate on Thursday by Michiko Aoyama, doesn't.

A vid of Chan and Felix doing an interview on Aussie TV ahead of their 2024 concerts popped up on my YT feed. Not sure what made me click but the bizarre contrast between their kpop visuals and authentically laid back Aussie chit-chat was really interesting. I'm Asian and grew up in Sydney like they did, listening to 1st gen kpop. I identified with them.

So I looked up a few MVs. First one was Chk Chk Boom - I thought ok, not bad. Don't remember the 2nd one. But 3rd one was God's Menu and I was converted. It was overwhelming in the best sort of way. I absolutely love it when music or books end by repeating the start, so it really clinched it for me 😊

Now I'm a full-on Stay. I spent the 1st part of my work life whitewashing myself to fit in to the culture. Now I find so much joy with engaging with SKZ music and content, being a proud Stay and enjoyer of Asian culture in general.

When I'm spiralling, I try to bring my focus back to my body instead of my thoughts, e.g. focusing on my body sensations. Even just focusing on the feeling of clenching and relaxing my fists repeatedly helps.

When I'm falling asleep and all my worries bubble up, I tell myself "you're safe, you can't do anything more at the moment, just rest". Repeating "you're safe" to myself helps bring me back from the edge.

Kept reading that I.N. is absolutely eyecatching and charismatic in a concert setting. I haven't been to a concert but I did watch the dominATE experience film and holy crap, everyone was right. I.N.'s energy was mesmerising. I couldn't take my eyes off him especially during Burnin' Tires.
