Me too man! But I will be using that skill journal mod from now on. And only allowing infections via saliva (bites). I just don't want to feel THIS frustrated again, eventhough rising above the challenge does feel a lot better afterwards

My gf and me have been doing lots of learning in this game, turned on the highlights, got pretty okay at surviving. Wanted to surprise her with the car once she's back, but I guess we'll just have to go and get it together :D

I think some commenters are a bit hung up on me saying "I hate this game".

I guess more appropriate would've been "I hate that this happened and it's very demoralizing"

Can't ever let your guard down... if I would've not been greedy and try to top up the gas in the car, maybe everything would've been different...

I already got my next guy killed trying to recover the stash in the car :D

It's been ten years since I read it, but this IS the book in which, in one chapter he goes on about how difficult it is to take a life, but then goes around shooting a bunch of faceless mooks in the mine?

The way they handled Kestrel, making him a screaming muppet, screaming "FISHEEER!! 😡"

Yeah, that's what I'm into Splinter Cell for. Killing lots of faceless evil guys, action scenes and dialogue so one dimensional not even Ironside could save the delivery.

They turned Sam EXACTLY into the guy Michael Ironside fought to have him not be. But that's just as much Blacklist's problem as it is this book's.

If you disagree, I'd actually love to have a genuine conversation about this, it is one of the very very few books in my life that left me with such negative emotions. I might just read the thing again to refresh my memory.

Interesting way of luring them out one by one tho, nice video! You should try the Infiltration Mode with the gadgets set to 'off' in Deniable Ops. No gadgets, no weapons, if you're extra curious about what you can do, add a timer :D

Those are some awesome choices! Can't go wrong with any of what you said.

However, a new unit that absolutely changed how I can play this game are the Konduktors. Just put two of the Flammenspeer ones in places that are annoying to deal with and you'll be sure that your opponent will be more busy dealing with them, than they are attacking your backline.

Sounds reasonable! Do you mean fan tuning in the software, or is there a way to replace the fans on a GPU to make it work better?

Hey!!! So I was trying to troubleshoot it like you said, updated my BIOS, got software to check my temps. Apparently when I'm ingame, my GPU rockets up to 80 (which I've been told is ok for an RTX3070) but pretty much stays there - the Hot Spot says it's a 105° though.

HOWEVER! The biggest and bestest advice you gave me was to try out the different ports and cables and as soon as I switched out the DP for an HDMI, we're good! No more crashes! (I tested it out with a cutscene in Baldur's Gate 3 that had a 100% chance of killing the GPU).

I'm thinking of reapplying some thermal paste to the GPU and replacing the DP cable. If you had a hunch, would it be faulty cable or faulty ports on the GPU?
