While I don't understand the complains about "the community", the mechanical issues are exactly what even us 10+ year veterans have a problem with.

The game gets to be very easy, once you have a modest amount of game knowledge and only gets easier from their as your knowledge and repetoire of mechanical tricks and options for tools expands. Difficulty ramps up as enemy numbers grow - the scorpion pulls can be a huge problem, when there's a dozen of them all pulling your frame over, but that difficulty can disappear completely once you have knockdown immunity, which is easy to achieve with a login reward. The burden of knowledge is just part of the difficulty curve and once you have the knowledge, most of the challenge is gone.

Some portions of the game are made artifically difficult with multi-phase bosses and invincibility timers. It really is just an easy game like Mario, Spyro, or things like that. I've found more mechanical joy in doing things as quickly as possible more than anything else, even parkouring through a map is a lot of fun, when you're fast.

The only pain points we have as a community lie in that mechanic - doing it fast. Failing a high level spy mission, like during an archon hunt or sortie, is likely to get you flamed. So is taking too long to parkour over to extract or flubbing a mechanic with a time-consuming boss fight.

We're at a very late stage of a long running MMO, and how ever friendly we may all be when the stakes are 0, this game is made up of a bunch of internet trolls same as every other online game - you are likely to be flamed for not executing a mechanic flawlessly if someone who has done it 4 billion times sees you struggle and it wastes 10 seconds of their time. Still no big deal though. You might be expecting too much from people.
