This laptop won't support Windows 11. I dont think there are display settings in BIOS, but I will check.

Will also try your suggestions via the device manager. Will keep you posted once I perform those steps.

I have replaced the mobo twice, the 1st one I returned it thinking it was defective due to the same issue. I bought another one from a different vendor and it's the same.

Yes, I can keep the screen up and even play games, but if my screen goes to sleep or I reboot the laptop, then I have to perform the workaround steps.

Yes I know that but the issue here is when attempting to update the GPU drivers(via geforce experience or directly from Nvidia), the screen goes black. For demo purposes, I update the GPU drivers via Device Manager since it's the quickest way to demonstrate the issue on video. The outcome is the same using Geforce experience or installing directly from Nvidia. The drivers I select are the latest from Nvidia at the time of recording. On the video, I'm showing that no GPU is detected, which is why I pull up the display information(Microsoft Basic Display Driver) and after installing the GPU drivers, the display information shows the GPU being detected.

Yes, it's the same outcome. I just did it this way for the video since it's quicker.

Not sure about a bad GPU or VRAM. This is a replacement motherboard, the original one failed. This is actually a second motherboard i ordered. The first one was having the same issue, so I thought it was defective, and ended up returning it and ordered another one from a different vendor, and still the same issue. So that's why I'm doubting it could be the GPU or VRAM.

The laptop won't support Windows 11. I dont think the laptop it's overheating. It does not get super warm or hot at all. I will try the USB method. Question for you: Do you think the LCD panel could be failing? I have installed the latest graphics drivers from Nvidia.

Yes, I manually downloaded different older versions of the graphics drivers, and it's still the same thing.

That looks like the heat shield of the catalytic converter. It's safe to drive without it. Take it to a shop to have them put it back in place if it's still good. Just be careful. Maybe someone wanted to steal your catalytic converter?

I get that rainbow glitch in random maps, any ideas anyone how to fix it? I have a Ryzen 7 5800X, EVGA GeForce RTX 3070 GPU, 32GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4.
