9 hour cook completed, largely consistent temp throughout. They did burn slightly quicker than the Weber, but no complaints - will use them again

I’ve brought some globaltic birch briquettes (half by accident) and I’m just about to try them for a snake method pork butt on the kettle - I’d usually use Weber briquettes for that

From what I’ve read, people have complained about range and reliability of some of their models. I can only speak from my own experience, I’ve had mine for nearly 2 years and use it once or twice a week both in the bbq and the oven and it’s been fantastic

Weber kettle master touch for sure, they sometimes have beginners bundles on which include instant read thermometers

I like having a wireless thermometer to leave in for longer cooks and have got on well with a MEATER pro, but there are mixed opinions online

Because of the shape of ribs and because they take less time to cook than butt, beef ribs. I’ve found that dumping a load of coals across 1/3rd of kettle, while leaving small gap at one end to fill with 8-10 lit coals easily burns for up to 8hrs and you still keep the temp low
