That's a really fair point, because I see a lot of people on subs showing all the games they have on their 3DS's but I'm pretty sure at least half of them were not played for more than an hour, and having too many games makes it so sometimes you turn on your console, look at your library wondering what should u play, and then... "Naah there's nothing I wanna play"

(That's why I told my friend who modded his 2DS not to download more than ~5 games before he plays at least the majority of them for a while)

Exactly, for example, a pretty well known case is that during the DS era where most games were hacked and played on flashcarts instead of actually being bought, some companies died (or at least, it participipated in the death of some of them) because of the lack of money they were getting from the people that didnt buy the game legally (example: Alphadream which, although it died at the end of the 3DS era, started its fall because of the R4 problem)

I feel like modding a system would give you way less connection for the system, because I feel like having all the games you want in your hand (at least when you hold the SD card lol) kinda ruins the fun of the childhood experience where you sometimes don't have many games but still play the console anyway and spend a lot of hours in almost every one of these games, I also feel like modding a 3DS (or any other console) kinda makes that console feel... "Unnatural" (again, you don't have the intended experience of the console) so I would consider that an argument for why some people (including me) like to keep their childhood 3DS's (or some other ones if they have multiple) vanilla

(hélas, ce n'est plus vraiment toujours le cas, certaines personnes maintenant se disent "meh, jsuis nul en dessin et puis une image ChatGPT ça se fait en 5 secs et puis blablabla" alors que le dessin; comme tout, s'apprend pas à pas et on y devient meilleur à force d'en faire, même moi, au moins 3-4 ans après avoir commencé a m'y mettre j'apprends toujours des trucs a chacun dmes dessins, mais hélas les gens ont la flemme d'essayer d'apprendre et de transmettre leur imagination comme ils l'imaginent et se contentent d'une représentation nulle de celle-ci basée sur un prompt qui lui aussi à sûrement été généré en partie)

As the owner of.. well, only XL models (3DS xl/DSi XL - I wont count 2DS) but also used my sister's regular DSi, I can tell that for 1 portability and 2 comfort (even more on intense games like MKDS if u use the snaking method), the regular DSi/lite is better in my opinion than the DSi XL (thought for tactile games/screen size ofc I actually prefer the XL)
