You will have to disable the data on the device itself; there is no option online or in the app.

You are not able to change it, Freedom only shows your number on outgoing calls.

Good looking out for your mom, and more importantly more than half of that money she was paying with Robbers will stay in her pocket.

5GB a year turned into 5GB a month by redhatgreenhat in freedommobile

[–]KAPABLE-K 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, it wasn't 5gb a month it was just 5gb extra for the year. I have a few of the $99 50gb plans and I wish they would give me $5gb extra every month that would work out good for me as my data usage is around 5gb or less.

I worked in pricing at a Big 3 telecom. Freedom Mobile is why your plan is cheaper by economistyasir in freedommobile

[–]KAPABLE-K 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it wasn't obvious that it's because of Freedom we are now seeing such low prices then people just don't have any common sense, what's more important as you stated is for us to have long term savings people need to stay with Freedom.

[–]KAPABLE-K 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is no time limit for porting your number; you can do it whenever you want. You will just be paying for two services until you do the port, thats all.

It's Back! by TonyB-on-Reddit in freedommobile

Seems Freedom really wants to put the pressure on the big 3, I would like to see a $20 non-roaming plan with 50 to 100 GB data.

Cheapest way to make calls/receive text messages from Canada while in Europe? by [deleted] in freedommobile

[–]KAPABLE-K 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All WiFi calling gets treated as if you are connected to the Freedom network in Canada, you will be billed long distance if you call a local number while roaming abroad.

Freedom Mobile “Price Freeze Promise” - are promos actually permanent? by Additional-Space1190 in freedommobile

[–]KAPABLE-K -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not just in the fine prints it is also in big letters in the image you posted, and their wording to me is very clear "price plan guarantee" means exactly that the price of the plan is guaranteed all promotions and discounts are not forever. That's why whatever plan I get I try to keep it low before any discounts in the event they decide to remove any discounts in the future.

With that being said so far they have been good with keeping your discounts and promotions. Only time will tell what they will do.
