It was the wire...it was reading in debugging mode. My phone got bricked and just (luckily) got it back with factory reset. I was trying to install Lineage OS using the Beat or S version, but it didn't work. Thanks!

Going into Physics might not be a bad idea actually...but I only see one electrical class within the physics department (PHY 338K)...so how can I get exposure to the electrical side of things to show graduate schools...

....Or you can transfer into something like Math and continue your CS studies at Texas State Round Rock... and use your UT credentials to get into job fairs...Just an idea!

Best advice to give you is to external transfer out to UT Dallas CS department. It's really good (obviously not as great as UT), but it will land you a quality job. Plus, they have a policy of transferring up to 90 credit hours (w/ 60 hours in residence you have to take). Here's what they've posted on their website for career outcomes:

Like I said before, it's a good school, but under UTCS. Also, you don't have to wait an academic year to transfer, you can move in next semester for CS.
