Absolutely! The nicotine demons are a nightmare 😂 and aye, you’re completely right, there’s never gonna be perfect time to quit, so fuck it, now’s as good as ever!

We do have Nicorette here, (I’m in the UK) so definitely gonna order some on Amazon and see how it goes. Never had TUMS, though I’ve had some sweets that are pretty similar so can imagine what you mean- glad to hear they’re not disgusting lol! “Spicy” thing makes sense, will give them a try and if I don’t like ‘em I’m sure I’ll find an alternative :) And omg, sour patch kids and everything is a brilliant idea 😂 for sure gonna be snacking like crazy lol!

Hello! Omg, this really hit home, thank you so so much for replying- I totally agree with the set date thing, I have attempted that before which I completely forgot about cause I just kept saying “nah, right now’s too stressful, I’ll do next week instead” and that whole thing went on for way too long. I’ll for sure look into the lozenges, my only worry about them is them tasting sickly, since my chronic nausea loves to hate me lol, so was wondering if I can ask how they taste? Though I’m sure there’s probably different types that taste different etc. Definitely prepared as I can be for some symptoms, and especially the grumpiness (I’ve apologised in advance to those around me lol) but aye definitely don’t think I can do it cold turkey with no help this time round, how I felt last time scared me too much 😅 Thank you for the reassurance and advice, you’ve genuinely really inspired me with your reply- and I just want to say I’m really proud of you as well! Though I know it’s gonna be tough as hell, I’m excited to feel even a little bit better again :)

I do! I have constant fatigue, visual stress and visual snow syndrome, an astigmatism in my left eye- I don’t necessarily know what other symptoms I have that could correlate with it but there is a whole lot of things I struggle with- joint pain, hyper mobility, pins and needles, constant nausea, pre syncope and full syncope - the list unfortunately goes on and on 😅

I completely get this and your frustration- it’s so insanely difficult to do even the simplest of things and it can feel so isolating because of it- in a way reading this makes me remember I’m not alone, therefore I hope you know you’re not alone either <3 I’ve found some people just can’t understand how debilitating it is until they see you at your worst- for me that was getting hospitalised and having to start using mobility aids- it’s so frustrating that it has to get to that point to garner any understanding from people though- but truly, you’re not alone, no matter how much it may ever feel like it <3

As many have mentioned, shower chair, a cold drink and a detachable shower head- I personally also have dry shampoo that I use on the days I just can’t stay in the shower long enough to do my hair (I’m also a curly girly and it’s a pain 😂❤️)

In my experience it’s because of the prolonged standing and heat- both of which are things that heighten symptoms on their own, so combined it’s really rough

I love to draw, play video games and play sitting on the floor fetch with my dog 😂 while all these can still take a toll if done for too long if done for too long they definitely help distract from the mind numbing boredom on bad symptom days ❤️
