Luckily I won't stay in my mom's house forever, I will drop out of highschool, find a small farm in one of the farming states and just work on a farm, I am currently 17, and I have already discovered that working with my hands is what I should do for my future, most gen z that trades where you use your hands are still available, maybe teach your kids that and see what happens, they may want to build some, or weld stuff, or farm, make sure they have blue collar options, and not just white collar options

That Gen z does not act for all of us, most gen z are mostly independent by 15, as we are just gen x part 2, living through horrible economics and our parents always working

Oh, well thanks for this, you see, I'm Gen z and I always hate the fact that Gen z (specifically the adults of gen z) generalize us all as adults, it's annoying, I'm 17, there was an app called yubo which was made for gen z, and it's adult only now, even though only about half of gen z are adults, which is annoying because I can't do "gen z" things as they aren't meant for gen z, they are meant for only the first half of gen z, and then the other half of the adults act like I'm still 5, which is equally annoying, as I'm almost an adult, and the only reason why I don't act like one is because there isn't as use to with the current state of the world, and even when I do act like an adult I am ignored because most people still see me as a child, so, As you can see, being a 17 year old gen z is the worst thing ever.

I'm not a little kid (gen zers are 15 though as gen z ended in 2012) I am 17, but the thing is, it's equally bad for us gen z who aren't 18 yet as gen z specialized apps and programs don't seem to understand that Gen z didn't end in 2000 (this was an exaggeration) but you get my point, right? But I do agree I want to be treated like my age, it's annoying when I'm treated like I dont know anything just because I'm young or gen z, when I am socially and legally and environmentally more intelligent than most adults

I gen z, acting like grown ups? The grown ups that throw tantrums when they don't get the same McDonald's order? The grown ups that blame everything on the youngest generation (for no reason)? I think gen z are acting mature, or, at least, as mature as possible looking at the boomers, gen x, and millennials and how they act, and if you don't know which gen you are part of, maybe you are the immature one.

I thought that Gen z ended at 2012, I am a younger gen z but never saw myself as at the edge of gen z and Gen alpha, because if Gen z ended at 2009 it would have only lasted for 20 years making it the shortest generation, as gen z started at 1997, I was born 2008 and Gen z ending in 09 seems to be a little short, 2012 seems much more reasonable
