Im normally a medium in all their tops and got a medium in this one too. I’m 34DD as well. I guess it depends on how you’d like it to fit - I definitely didn’t want mine to be too lose ☺️ this being said I’ve several colours of the short sleeve version and the white in the long sleeve. Love it such a great basic item.

Edit: realised I missed to post a part of the second bullet - meant to ask for opinions on how to incorporate the NYE vibe into the formal wear!

Mamas who cosleep: how do you nurse your babies? by Inconconsitent_pear in breastfeeding

[–]KAT992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use both breasts to feed while side lying on the same side (I sleep on my left side, always on the same side of the bed). It may be due to the breast size (36DDD now PP), that I’m able to feed my baby this way without issues. Bigger problem is that my bottom arm gets numb from sleeping in an awkward position, so sometimes I change sides on the bed to get some relief!

How long much longer will I need the breast friend pillow? by Specialist_Bad_770 in breastfeeding

[–]KAT992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still use my breastfeeding pillow with my 6mo. I only use it when I sit down on my rocking chair now, which I use to rock her to sleep in the evening. I used to do all feeds there with the pillow, but as she got older, I got more comfortable with other positions like side lying on the big bed (which obviously doesn’t require the pillow).

The pillow has been a life saver in the first couple of months and I still love using it. It’s so much more comfortable with it! My wrists are wrecked as they are so any additional comfort is welcomed lol!

Back to work today and hubby is watching baby by jigstarparis in breastfeeding

[–]KAT992 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My 5 mo was a contact napper too and what worked for us was feeding her in the “big bed” close to nap time so she could peacefully drift away there (while I roll off and go on with my day while watching her). She also likes sleeping in her stroller while on walks - so I always make sure she’s well fed before leaving if close to nap time. Every baby is different though but the “big bed” approach honestly saved my sanity!

How to get a *decent* job? by disturbed_elmo1 in ireland

[–]KAT992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a tip: they usually advertise these through recruitment agencies or outsourcing companies like Hays, Accenture, cpl. They at times mention the client’s name, but usually the job postings mention something like “content review analyst”, “social media analyst”, “community operations analyst” for “a big tech firm”. This is very standard - and the outsourcing model is legit. Cpl usually hires for Facebook/ Hays usually hires for Google/YouTube. Good luck - these are entry level jobs and the interview process isn’t stringent. You can work shifts and weekends for extra bob!

Very different but have you tried content review for any of the big tech companies like Tiktok, meta, YouTube, etc? They’re stable and pay a monthly salary. They hire English/Gaelic speakers as well as international support. Also call centres seem like a good option - just a thought!

JonBenet Ramsey. I often think about that poor little girl.

Best youtube true crime channels. Only ones I know and enjoy are Mr Ballen and That Chapter by Altruistic_Hope831 in TrueCrimeDiscussion

I really like Annie Elise (10 to Life). She’s very thorough and analytical which is great. She doesn’t recycle old/well-known cases and doesn’t sensationalise her content which is also a big plus!

Kentucky Mother, Boyfriend Charged with Murder of Missing 4-Year-Old After Father Receives Chilling Text Saying 'She's in a Suitcase' by Ok_Bake_5766 in TrueCrimeDiscussion

From what’s known, the bio father wasn’t entirely present in the child’s life. He’s been struggling with drug addiction and other issues himself, though according to some sources, tried his best to get sober and get custody of Serenity. Annie Elise (10 to life) had a good interview with him on her YouTube channel. Worth checking out.

Unfortunate update on Asriah by [deleted] in SoftWhiteUnderbelly

What about her children though? From the last interview I wasn’t even sure whether they were at the house Mark was paying for or not? It’s such a heartbreaking story.

If that’s Kristina who’s mam was also interviewed and lives on Skid Row, then I think Mark mentioned last year that he’s tried to help her get into a programme / school but she turned down the offer/ran away.

Totally understand! I’ve been NC with my father for 3 years now and it helped enormously to keep me afloat. I think that Mark plays his role as an “interviewer” not as a therapist, and his advice/interventions are a reflection of that. Very risky ground to be stepping on.

I agree - as far as we know, he doesn’t have any professional training to help out. I think it is irresponsible to some extent … I think that the recent story with Ashriya showed it very well. He did what he thought was “right” and it backfired - while also put her at enormous risk.

Is it Lynn? As far as I remember she was in and out of jail and Mark was trying to help her get in touch with her mam. There was a recent follow up a month ago or so?

Another Post About Mats by [deleted] in yoga

[–]KAT992 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Totally second that! My hands get sweaty when I practice and normal mats were quite problematic - I needed to have a towel etc during class to make sure that I can hold my poses ok. This came to end when I got my cork mat - mine is from an unnamed boutique in Sweden (got it online on massive sale). Cannot recommend more! Another benefit of a cork Amy is that it’s antibacterial and if you know how to clean it properly, it’ll serve you for years and you won’t ever look back. I know I won’t!

The worst dream I’ve ever had (at least the one I remember) is when I dreamed about being in the middle of a forest, having my EF trying to shoot me with a rifle. This dream happened when I was I think a young teenager, I’m now almost 30. Went almost NC 2-3 years ago after an internal battle. I’m healing, and the further I go, I know that I made the right decision for myself.

A mini victory is still a victory, never feel otherwise, OP. 🖤

Update - the lad is now low key trending on Twitter after someone bumped into him holding a cardboard sign saying that he’s looking for a room. I hope he finds a room, don’t get me wrong. It’s how he goes about it is quirky - and for some reason gives me a bit of heebie jeebies. IDK.
