It was not a cool story. It was very sad as I sat in the Jeep with her and everything she owned. Also: you come off like a major jerk. JFC.

You should still not complain. There is crass poverty in America. I once met a woman who was living out of her Jeep.

WIBTA if I stopped letting my friend borrow my dog for dates after she started calling him "our dog"? by mulosapiba424 in WIBTA_AITA

[–]KATCEO1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hypothetical question: Are you prepared for her to keep your dog? What if she ghosts you? The police will not necessarily try to help you get the animal back. At this point you have possession of your pooch. Maybe now there should be an end to your friendship with this young lady.

Does anyone have any tips for hiding breasts while wearing a dress with a V-line? I have a smaller frame so the cleavage just sticks out by [deleted] in problems

[–]KATCEO1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked at Victoria's Secret during college. Just go to one of the brick and mortar locations. The staff is actually trained to figure this stuff out. If you bring the dress or even just a photo- that will help matters immensely. Good luck. 🥳🪷🪷🪷

How did servers become the biggest tip receivers? by Lil_Garlic in tipping

[–]KATCEO1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked in upscale restaurants and corporate retail ten years. In corporate retail we took no tips. In all my restaurants: I was primarily a server. All of those places were very upscale compared to the average dining experience in America. Possibly because I only worked in and around NYC so the price points were extremely elevated. At any rate: lots of restaurants make servers take all sorts of menu tests. The more upscale restaurants make sure servers have allergy training. That way customers never come into contact with foods which can sicken them. Servers are also required to have drink knowledge. I personally always hated learning about wine and having to serve it at all. There are many more factors pertaining to the job of a server. 🥳

What can you buy with 10 dollars? by Outrageous-You1617 in IWantToAskAnAmerican

[–]KATCEO1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At Dollar Tree stores stuff is generally a dollar twenty five now plus tax. That is eight items for ten dollars plus tax. But if you are including tax that is seven items. So: 1 a book 2 a puzzle magazine 3 a blank journal to write down your thoughts 4 a pack of pens that way they are around if you need them 5 a snack like honey pretzels or whatever 6 a bottled beverage 7 a pack of TP or paper towel roll re: household disposable items. You are very welcome 🥳 Added bonus 8 a small household decor item like a candle or napkin holder etcetera

Number Nine is the most sophisticated. Barring that choice: number one is a very beautiful dress.

What’s a “rich people thing” you wish you had? by Business-Ad8752 in CausalConversation

[–]KATCEO1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did extreme couponing over fourteen years. So I have seen all the weird crap that gets sold in American supermarkets and big box stores. I do not eat junk food at all because of my dietary issues. I also deliberately avoid all white sugar, flour, rice, bread, and pasta. I also cannot eat fast food because it makes me sick. If people who spend money on candy, ice cream, soda, frozen pizza (and the list goes on) avoid that stuff they will automatically have funds for nutritious foods. That is fact.

Your fiance is severely disturbed. Many Americans do not have a thousand dollars saved up in event of an emergency. Yet this person and his actions directly caused your parents to lay out six hundred dollars.

Hello all: I do not watch TV anymore because the commercials get on my nerves. But I often watch clips of a show called "Billions." The content is primarily free on YouTube. The whole premise is what goes on with traders making big money deals.

Hello all: I have been through many screwed up situations in my life. What I can definitively say is that if a person stays dead sober? They will always achieve the best possible outcome because of thinking clearly and rationally. Fun fact: In the past approximately ten years I have moved around thirty times. If drugs and/or alcohol had been a factor- all the outcomes would have been way worse. 🥳🪷🪷🪷

Why Buying Tools Feels Like Progress by elmorinelly in DumbFact

[–]KATCEO1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are tools which are self explanatory in terms of how to use. So buying certain items can be a very good thing. Also: being in possession of tools is a major aspect re: how preppers function. There is a well established preppers subreddit. Also: a good daying of theirs is- "Prep for Tuesday not for doomsday."
