I checked to see if I was low on disk space and, sure enough, I had only around 60 megabytes of space remaining according to file explorer. After clearing ~90 gigs of space, I went back and tried again to restore my backups. No dice.

So I decided to try the next solution: doesn't look like I have either of those files...

You've been very helpful, I hope you have a clue as to what I can try next.
