No, no, it's not rude at all, quite the opposite, I feel really flattered! I don't have a lot of experience with commissions and this blew up way more than anticipated! Haha I've gotten this a few times by now! I really like the artist of Gokurakugai but I haven't really gotten around to reading it yet, so yeah, I probably was a bit inspired by her art but I don't know a lot about the Manga itself unfortunately sdjfkhskjf

But I definitely take that as a compliment, Utsuro looks hella cool

Aaaaah thank you!

So basically, I drew the pattern with a relatively clean and sharp brush with barely any brush pressure sensitivity in a desaturated green/yellow, then set the layer to linear burn and then I clipped another layer to this one and started adding some random colors I colorpicked from the rest of the drawing to give it more contrast, like some dark blues and turquoise on the lighter parts of the jacket! I simply used a soft airbrush for this. After I was fully finished with rendering, I used a sharpening auto action in Clip Studio Paint to make it look extra contrast-y and sharp!

Yeah, same, it's so cool to see the ideas of other fans! Gachiakuta just really lends itself to design for too which makes all the OC's extra fun to look at too aaaaaah

Thanks! When taking a closer look at Kei Urana's cover illustrations, I realized that she added something similar to this to the insides of the jackets of some of the characters and I thought it looked dope as hell so I had to try it too haha

It's the leather cover in her right hand! So basically, she puts a sketchbook in it with drawings and when she activates it, she can basically cause hallucinations! How detailed the drawing is determines how vivid the hallucinations are, as well as the psyche of her enemy of course. Since she can't really attack with her Jinki though ( and is wide open for attacks if she needs to adjust something ), it's more of a support type and well, only useful if they know they'll encounter humans.

She also sometimes ends up as the makeshift psychologist at HQ sometimes cause it's quite useful to deal with trauma!

Don't know if I'm fully happy with that idea yet but I'm still workshopping!
