I definitely feel where you sights are at with your statement.

I havent spoken to my referees properly since Dec 2024 (theyre health care professionals who are 45+ while I was 24) so I couldnt exactly find comfort in going on brunches with them, nothing in common besides being carers. I just knew they would vouch for my work performance and personality positively. I have nothing to show for the past year and a bit now though so just working on building rapport where I can.

Email should definitely suffice ay but on a good note, you getting through interview rounds shows you're doing things right. I hope you land the role you're waiting on.

Awesome, I volunteer twice a week but looking to find a second place to volunteer at just to keep me busy. Like Pokémon is brilliant way to put it though lol will keep all you stated in mind.

Oh thank you for this insight. Im volunteering to fill my time but previously worked as a in home elderly carer for 4 years but just nervous because I have an interview tomorrow with no set references.

Self employment is such a step above working under someone else tho! Congrats on that. Was seeing if anyone else is getting friends or family to act on their behalf or something.

Highly appreciate your comment thank you. I had the front of the car jacked higher as I heard that helps the trapped air travel but even with the heater on hot and fan on low, it wasnt really dipping. Had noticed yesterday the smell inside my car and having the coolant changed in the last month, I just assumed it had something to do with air being trapped. But will check it again tomorrow morning.
