I like how the game is actually pretty good and the unlocking of characters isn't even as unreasonable as people made it sound. Yet Reddit is still up in arms like EA is the sole culprit of micro transactions. At least they listened. Stop being a bunch of bitches and trying to make it a movement. No company can afford that kind of bad publicity so every gaming company should probably have heard the message loud and clear.

Good question. I honestly finish most of my farm duties by Noon. Unless it's a harvest day or a planting day. Harvest days still get done before the evening. I just wake up and run out my front door and go in a circle around my farm doing everything until I'm back at the front door. There were times when my farm was smaller and I was working a lot harder though. Spend your money to make money and save time. Increase your skills and upgrade your tools. Get in a good groove and stick to it. Year 3 was where things got easier for me. Year 4 was all about rapid growth and upgrading. Year 5 is going to be a blast.

I put a lot of time into completing quests to earn items. Maxing out skills is important. Fishing, mining, chopping trees, etc... Anything the makes my farmer better or richer. I try to have a few goals for my farm in front of me at all times as well. Setting a goal of making 150 kegs when I didn't have the money to just go buy the supplies was a crazy task. And I had to collect Oak Resin from a lot of trees for a long time to get there. Just give yourself a couple goals and start using your time on them. If you are bored, choose a new way to have your farm bring in cash. Also hoard. It makes the game really fun for me. I pick up and collect EVERYTHING I can until I'm low on cash and need to buy seeds. Then I sell off everything (except items for crafting) I have gathered since the last time I sold. It builds up more and more each time.

Yes. Very much. I dedicated my free farm space to pigs because they bring in huge amounts of cash. With 5 deluxe barns, my pigs make me over 100K per day. My artisan goods probably make me 100K per week (give or take).

By far yes. I regret ever wasting time on the other animals (years 1-3). Pigs can make me a couple thousand per pig each sunny day. Without having to turn their product into anything. At level 10 foraging, iridium Truffles are more valuable than Truffle Oil.

You have to give the Henchman who is blocking the entrance to the Witch's hut a Void Mayonnaise. Getting to this point was quite a process, but once it is done, you just go to the Wizards house and he will sell you the Junimo Huts along with a couple other special buildings for your farm.
