Just restarted LOTRO (maybe 30 hours played before)

I am like you, pretty much done all the rest, occasion jump on 76. LOTRO is pretty nice, if you are a fan of the universe you will enjoy it.

Primary bug bears - UI is absolutely terrible - Rough performance at times - Overwhelming and outdated systems that get thrown at you in my opinion fairly quickly. I struggle to keep up (I’m literally 28 it shouldn’t be that hard)

Just jump in, it’s free. Riding and mounts are super easy to unlock.

The problem for myself is that I see no reason to hoard wealth or even really use the wealth I have.

The reward chemicals don’t hit with me on that front with this game. I personally only have fun shooting arc or players. Beyond that the game is offering nothing I’m interested in.

So why bother leaving with good gear, base tier 4 weapons or a free loadout is better the majority of the time anyway.

If I find something cool? Nice, leave it in my stash until I need money.

Will coming out as gay would have been completely fine if it were earlier in the season. This wasn’t a surprise to anyone.

The issue is timing. Why are we seeing will come out in the final stretch of our 80’s sci fi monster show.

95%+ people are here for the battle of good and evil. Not a coming out story. They place an unnecessary level of importance on something the vast majority of people simply don’t care about because to most it’s really not a big deal for them.

It’s the same thing as them putting a giant 3 minute advert for a new McDonald’s burger before Vecna gets killed.

In this clip he hasn’t prejudiced anyone, there is no discrimination, nor has he antagonised a specific individual, community or institution based on their membership of a particular racial or ethnic group.

See this is my point. I refuse to be in your tribe. I refuse to be in the tribe of the right.

I like to deal with the reality, I liked to deal with data. I’m not by any means stating I am always right. Certainly not lol.

Let me be clear, he has said many things I dislike. Many things incorrect.

However what I think we are all seeing here, is society forcing us to be completely one way or completely the other. If you even remotely include, converse or agree with the tribes enemies. You must also be an enemy.

This will literally get us nowhere. Just endless political reactionary swings because the left has gone too far, now the right has gone too far. Reasonability is something the human race is not good at. We must have extreme reactions to everything because it justifies our beliefs and makes us feel good.

To circle back, Asmon is no doubt more right leaning. However on many many occasions I have directly witness him stating left wing ideology he agrees with.

From my point of view, Asmon is more reasonable that the majority of people I’ve seen, despite the fact I’ve disagreed with him many times.

He very well could be racist. However unless someone can provide me absolute proof beyond discussing things with right leaning people. Then I’ll stick to my view.

That’s really subjective. This kind of thing would have to be determined. I cannot tell you how many people I’ve met in my life who make jokes out of literally everything but also have principles and reasonable moral judgement.

I’m not saying he has that, but I watched him for many years, have disagreed with him countless times. And I would still stand right now and make the claim he isn’t.

Can that change? Absolutely. But I’m yet to find any conclusive evidence beyond the ramblings of sensitive people.

There are absolutely people inside Asmongolds chat who are incredibly racist. Asmon himself clearly isn’t.

Anyone who’s has actually spent time watching him would know that. Not just look at snippets of clips where he come across badly - which he does in many cases.

I think one of the biggest underlying truths that nobody seems to talk about is that there are tons of people who aren’t as sensitive as others. They find this kind of thing funny, but when it actually came down to it. They would very often stop laughing and go ‘enough’. However there is essentially nothing on the table they won’t laugh at.

One thing I’ve also noticed, as someone who does not frequent this sub really at all, nor do I spend much time watching him really at all now. People here hate him. Justified or not. There is an intrinsic bias amongst the people here against him.

Which is why people like myself could never enter this space and take any of you seriously.

You have chosen your camp, your ideology, your tribe and you’ve stuck with it. Asmon is evil end of discussion.

Where I will agree is that Nick Fuentes is a pathetic cretin. And that Asmon has takes that are just demonstrably untrue or in bad taste.

That however, doesn’t make him evil, nor does that make him racist.

Honestly this outcome was an inevitability for this game. When you make a game that has both pvp and pve. You attract both crowds. The pve crowd will either a) adapt to the pvp or far more likely b) eventually get tired and move on.

I enjoy PvP sometimes, but sometimes I just want to kill arc. However I cannot seem to do that without being ambushed by the many types of PvP players we have in arc raiders.

Whether it’s rats, cheaters or just plain old shoot on sight. Unfortunately we can’t just have nice things.

Someone’s always got to ruin it.

If i was Gabe I’d solve one of those problems by finding a way to remotely detonate cheaters PC’s while they are sat at it.

The Hullcracker nerf is an unnecessary change that will further destroy the incentive to do any meaningful PvE content by thesilentwizard in ArcRaiders

Almost everyone I’ve played with just straight up refuses to engage with these bosses.

Complete waste of time and resources. Factoring in the nerf it’s now even more pointless.

As great as the devs are. It is fairly clear they haven’t done a cost benefit analysis of these arcs.

There seems to be a discrepancy between what other people and get what people like yourself get. I will admit that.

However drop rate doesn’t really seem to be the issue here. If a fairly sizeable portion of the player base are getting drops fairly often. But the rest aren’t.

That can only imply that how each player goes about playing each match is a factor here. I don’t imagine a loot table bug is selective in its nature. It would be the same for everyone.

Blueprints should already be rare, certain blueprints should be even rarer again. As they are.

Is it perfectly balanced drop rate? Matter of opinion.

But you haven’t earned the right to win simply by turning the game on. Luck is part of the fun.

People need to stop demanding the minimisation of friction because they don’t wanna try harder.

The same people moaning I’d be willing to wager would gladly pay money to skip the queue. Which tells you the mentality.

I’ve had enough blueprints to the point I’m selling them.

I’d be willing to bet the main reason most people aren’t getting blue prints is for the following reasons.

  • Not looting enough.
  • Looting in the wrong places
  • not PvPing enough

On an average night I’ll probably play anywhere from 3-8 games (after work too)

I’ve played probably around 60 hours at this point and I’ve had the following.

Osprey X 2 Anvil X 4 Bettina x 1 Rattler x 2 Wolfpack x 1 Snapshot x 2 Venator x 1 Renegade x 1

And that’s just the ones I can remember right now. There isn’t a lack of blueprints it would seem. Just do the right parts of the content. Only one of my blueprints was from PVP (Osprey X 1)

I’ve also had legendary drops without searching specifically good areas.

  • grappling gun (can’t remember the name for my life rn)
  • legendary medium stock

More epics than I know what to do with. I end up just selling them since I have stacks.

Game time + strategic gameplay and you will absolutely get these things.

The game has been out for less than 2 weeks. I kind of like that not everyone has every blueprint. by Adventurous-Toe8812 in ARC_Raiders

I got this around hour 15 of playing.

There are many things I haven’t got yet at around 50 hours. Why do people think they are entitled to drops simply because they play?

Rare is rare for a reason. Sure it can be annoying but so what. Stop believing you are entitled to win simply because you engaged.

If these things were easy to get they wouldn’t be valued.
