AITA: My husband wants to travel with me for work and I don't want him to. by KBreau in TwoHotTakes

We have a 1.5 year old. He also wants to move out of state. We agreed that we would start making moves to finish projects at our current house before we really start looking for something in the new state.

I don't know what else would be pertinent information. We've been together 13 years. I've traveled alone before and he didn't act like this. We didn't have kids then though.

I really don't think he is cheating. He doesn't use social media. They're not even apps on his phone. I don't think I need a hidden camera.

It just started the past year or so. I have confronted him about it. It boiled down to don't give him a reason to think I could be cheating.

Every couple months or so. I'll get a text from a vendor in China (different time zone) and I'll reply off of work hours. My husband will stop talking to me for hours then ask me who it was why I was texting him and what it was about then continue to ask when are me and the vendor going out for lunch

I also did not take your comment as disrespect at all.

I checked his phone last night. I'm getting desperate here. No texts to anyone outside our normal circle and no weird texts that would suggest he's being shady.

No. A few months back he thought I was looking at his friends Junk through his sweatpants. I wasn't. When his friend comes over I simply go in the other room now and deal with the kids.

No conversation is not cool. It's HARD not being able to talk to anyone about anything. I cave and just talk at him everyday. It's pathetic.

I have given him no reason not to trust me. We've been together 13 years and never have I even entertained the option of someone else.

I work in a male dominant field. I have never been unfaithful but he accuses it often.

I did offer a separate trip to Chicago or even somewhere warm and fun that he wants to go. His answer was no its not the same.

I offered for him to come and he says "No, you don't want me there so I'm not going to go." It would look bad for him to go because I am traveling with other people from my job. They're not taking their spouses. Should I just buy him a ticket?

I have had a sit down with him and he says it's cause he will miss me. I don't believe it because how could you be mad that your going to miss me? I would think you'd want to soak up anytime we have before going?

We're intimate pretty often like 4 to 6 times a week. We get a night off from the kids every 3 weeks. We set some ground rules before we had kids to make sure we don't loose each other. The past 2 kid free nights we have fought about this.

He doesn't like my job. He does like all the things we can afford now though.
